Alrighty! My bikini line is looking fantastic and just in time for bathing suit weather. Here goes the nitty-gritty details: You need to do the whole series of 6 sessions-- don't try to skimp or you won't get results. I still have some strays but they are fine instead of course-- nothin' a little touch up can't get rid of. And you can get touch-ups with your guarantee for free, which I may just do. I loved my experience at Gentle Touch. I originally went in to get laser hair removal on my bikini line. Regina (the technician), was very polite and knowledgeable and explained what the procedure entailed, cost for a package with a guarantee, and how to prepare to the treatments. I went in for my first treatment nervous as could be, (I was about to get my pubic area zapped with a laser!) but Regina was cheerful, good-humored, and talked me through what was going to happen. As I lay on the table waiting for the first official zap that would lead me to a hair free bikini line to arrive, I hold my breath and tense up ready for the pain, she puts the laser to my ""area"" and zap! Always skeptical of what the results of laser treatments would be. I am happy to say that I was stunned with how fantastic each aspect of the process went. Starting from the initial consult, I was thoroughly impressed with both Regina and one of the owners warm personalities and professionalism. I just had my 6th laser hair removal treatment on my underarms about a month ago and I can honestly say that I am totally happy and satisfied with the results. Through out the treatments I was often skeptical about what the end result would be because at times it seemed to me like there was more hair re-growth or I didn't notice a huge difference from treatment to treatment. I used to be a tweezer. You can easily find six tweezers in the house and I am still constantly shopping for better ones. Not mentioning that I have to keep a pair of tweezers in every bag for my face. My hair was so dark and coarse that makes me ashamed of wearing shorts, skirts and of course, swim suits. After getting my first treatment I noticed a lot of patches of hair falling out and the rest of my hair was getting thinner. Treatment after treatment more hair would fall and more would get thinner. I treated my bikini area at a top rated laser hair facility several years ago in Manhattan and my results were disappointing because a majority of my hair grew back and the treatments were quite painful. I thought this was normal for laser hair removal! I decided to give it another try at Gentle Touch since it was a different type of laser and now I am currently treating my bikini, legs, and underarms, which all I can say is HUGE DIFFERENCE! My treatments are nearly finised for both my bikini and underarms and I am extremely pleased with the progress. From a pain standpoint it's about 10 times less painful overall than the previous procedure. It is much better than I expected and I hardly have any hair regrowth and I'm not even finished yet, YEAH!! Even after the 1st and 2nd treatments, I could definitely see some improvement in smoothness. I'm about halfway done w/my legs and can see a difference there as well. I have gone to other places and compared prices, but when I came to Gentle Touch, I was dumbfounded by their specials and guarantee. I was getting nearly 50% less than the other place I was going to sign with, and they are using the same laser. I have looked into laser hair removal for several years and just never could afford to invest the sum of money that other companies requested. It was not worth it. I was referred by a friend to Gentle Touch who was having a pre-summer special. I went in for my initial consultation and was greeted with informative and friendly staff. I was a little skeptical at first but the staff is so knowledgeable and put my mind to ease immediately. First of all I have not even completed half my treatments with Gentle Touch. I received treatments at another place before I went to Gentle Touch Laser and I could not even tell I had any treatments. But when I began treatments with Regina I noticed a reduction just after one treatment, and my hair was actually growing back slower. I went from shaving my underarms everyday to shaving after a month. The same has come true about my legs. And the price......incredible!!!! My jaw fell to the floor when they told me how much it was going to cost me, but I mean in a good way. About a month ago I decided to call Gentle Touch for a consultation about my skin and spots.
