Drop Spot Cleaners

I have discovered ""wash and fold"" delivery service and for the first time, trust someone else with cleaning my clothes. I call in the morning before I leave for work, leave my bag with the doorman, and when I return in the evening...voila! Beautifully clean clothes at a reasonable price. Best money I ever spent...no more hassle with quarters!!! more

Having read these two reviews, I decided to take two shirts to Drop Spot for cleaning. One is 100% cotton except for elastic detail at the v-neck and the other a 95% cotton/5% spandex button-up. When I got them home, the 5% spandex shirt had shrunk so much that it can barely be buttoned. The elastic detail on the other shirt shrunk leaving the shirt looking years old (note: both of these shirts were new, purchased just weeks before). I called Drop Spot and they said they had never heard of such a thing. Beware, though this is an environmentally friendly cleaner, it's not always good for your clothes. It is a new cleaning method that is not easy to master. Pros: didn't lose my garments Cons: shrank my clothes, pricey, pay-before and save money gimmick more

I never had my clothes sent out before, so I was reticent to do so. This place seemed like the best on Citysearch in accordance to the reviews (many of them bad, for other places). I'm so happy I tried it! I had sent out a HUGE PILE of clothes, they came to my door with the bag (5 floor walk-up mind you) and picked up and dropped off there. Clothes were all folded upon return, the service was friendly and they left me the bag for next time! Yesssssssssssssssssss! Pros: Friendly, Open till 7pm, arrived in 15 min! more

They have a great team working at this store and also I LOVED that there is no smell on my clothes. They are also able to deliver through out NYC. With a helpful and caring workers. I would bring my clothes here. Pros: Great Service, Helpful, Experienced Cons: Parking more
