I see a lot of comedy, mostly Improv, in NYC, Chicago and elsewhere. Let me tell you, these guys are the real deal. They are funny, smart and topical. Try as I did to stump them with my suggestions, they kept hitting the ball out of the park. They even created an entire musical based on a story told by an audience member -- me! I went and checked out their Show "One State, Two State, Red State, Blue State" with a colleague and it was a total blast. Just how political this show gets depends to a great degree on the suggestions from the audience, but the cast will riff on anything and do it in a variety of formats-- straight monologue, solo and duet singing numbers, game shows , even a broadwayesque finale that suddenly materializes in front of your eyes after just a brief moment of conversation with the audience. This particular show's finale was spectacular, even if the gamester topic from the audience threw the troupe for a split-second loop. Inspired by the demise of a young audience member's video game character, it came together quickly and seemlessly, incorporating songs, a hand to hand battle scene, and even off stage voice over phone calls. I see a lot of comedy shows, everything from Broadway to little holes in the wall in Brooklyn. This is the best show I've seen in years. The actors are quick-witted, and they actually have interesting, informed point of views. They kept me and my guests laughing all night long. The highlight is a 20 minute musical, complete with overture, songs and book, that they make up on the spot after talking to a customer about a recent event in their lives! I went there on a thursday night with my date. I'd read reviews on this website which said the show was hilarious. So I decided to give it a try instead of going to Comic Strip Live as I usually do. This has to be the funniest show in town. The 4 amazing actors work wonders, taking audience suggestions to create hysterical comedy right before your eyes. I've been back 4 times and each has been a fantastic experience. Pros: Very Funny, Good Value more
