Cheap Jack's Vintage Clothing

I was there twice in the month week, found myself some vintage shoes, and now I can't take them off my feet. I sleep in them and work in them. Also, I noticed people crowded around this one area where they were selling jeans, and the entire section was marked down. I could not believe the quality and style of these jeans. Cheap Jack's must have treated these clothes proper because the jeans I bought must have been at least 40 years old. I just got a complement about them while at a club! Who knew that vintage was so IN these days. The fact that this place has so much available makes me want to return over and over. And you just CAN'T beat the price. Unfortunately, I wish the store was a little bigger because I noticed they rotate the clothing on a regular basis and a shirt I wanted to buy two of was gone after 2 days and replaced by something different. I want to make this short and sweet but when its bad I can;t resist pulling out all the stops and warning the public. SHOPPERS BEWARE! On a whim a friend told me about Jack's so I decided to check it out. Sadly I wasted to much time doing so. We will start with the decor or the lack of. It seems the place has never seen the likes of Stanley steamers or a interior designer. At least the fixtures are vintage. The clothes however are not. Upon perusing their selection I come across items I was wearing in the 90's. NOT VINTAGE by any standard but priced three times what the retailed for at the time. I even spotted a A&F Jacket priced close to two hundred dollars. Alot of garbage that looks like it was rescued from Salvo and most of it literally falling apart. The sales girls are super nice and very helpful at directing you to various sections of the store and knowing 'the looks' of that era. However there was a creepy old man wondering around smoking and scowling at people in the store. I am to assume this to be Jack himself and not the store mascot. The only thing worth seeing in this place is their back room full of sequence frocks and over the top evening gowns but unless you have two or three hundred bucks to drop on one then I recommend going else where.
