I don't recommend this to anyone. The studio I rented for $2050/ month did not look anything like the pictures on their website. It was ok until I found out today, over 2 months ...

I work for a model agency and was booked for a show in NYC. My company rented me an apartment at the Bridge Suites. I had a great experience, the apartment was clean spacious and quiet. My room had its own large closet, kitchen and flat screen with cable included. The apartment had good sunlight however I did stay in the summer. \r \r When my boyfriend arrived to meet me I need and extra bed put in. I asked the doorman to help and he complied politely free of charge!! \r \r Only Con is Internet is not included or utilities. more

A lot Of Restaurants and Shopping areas and great service descent apartments – I came during the summer when there barely any apartments left in New York I stayed in a studio apartment facing the courtyard so my unit was quiet. I was missing some kitchen utensil but I called the doorman and he took care of it. Furniture descent nothing special but the apartment really comes with a lot of amenities. The only bad thing about the building was it is a walk up I had to walk up three flights big hassle for me. All in all I stayed for 3 months had a good stay and felt really safe with all the security cameras in the building. more

I lived at Bridge Suites this last summer and had a great experience. My friend and I had internships in the city and were looking for something that was affordable and furnished.\r We looked at some dorms, but didn't really want to be in a dorm setting. We also needed to be there longer than the dorms were open so we found a posting for Bridge Suites on Craigslist.I worked with a guy named Sammy over email. He was very honest and let us know all the details of the apartments. You don't have to pay a fee which is great, because a lot of the other apartments (even thought they were short term) still had some sort of fee built in. Make sure to read over the lease agreement and understand what the fees are. Electricity is $4 a day so you need to add that into the rent you are paying. My roommate and I had a studio with 2 double beds and it was $2100 a month (plus the electricity fee as well as the $200 move out cleaning fee). You do have to put down one month's rent to hold your spot, and they subtract your electricity and cleaning fee's from that. Our apartment was AMAZING We were on the 5th floor (it is a walk up so be prepared) so there was plenty of light. If I were you I would put in the lease that the unit you rent has to be in the back overlooking the courtyard. It was extremely quiet. We didn't even feel like we were in Manhattan. It was tiny, but worked well for us. There were 2 beds, a small table with 2 chairs, a dresser, a television and a tiny kitchen. The kitchen wasn't updated but it did the trick. The closet was small but we made it work. The staff is SO helpful. We loved all of the guys working at the front desk. Whenever we had questions or problems they responded immediately. They hold your packages at the front desk which is great when you are working all day.\r The location is great also. You are quick 5 minute walk to the 3rd ave/ 60th street station. The more you walk it the quicker and quicker it goes. There are awesome restaurants around. It is quiet at night, but not too quite where you are scared to walk back to your apartment. \r \r Moving out was easy. We got our security deposit back pretty quickly.\r \r Overall I would recommend this apartment. more

My girlfriend and I rented a studio apartment in July for 3 months and we loved the accommodation. Our apartment was clean, very comfortable and came fully furnished with fully equipped kitchen. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the private outdoor garden which we found to be very relaxing. The hallways and lobby were recently completely renovated as well as the apartments. To be fair they told me upfront that there is a $200.00 cleaning fee which is deducted from the security deposit, it was also clearly stated in the lease agreement. Utilities are deducted from the security deposit as well, this was made clear to me upfront and is also mentioned in the lease agreement. \r \r the apartment i got was facing the street the noise did not bother me. They do have studios facing the courtyard though not sure if it cost more. \r \r The studio apartment was approximately 450-500 Sqft, which is pretty spacious for Manhattan. If you need an extra bed they can provide you with one free of no charge. There is Also and LED TV in all apartment. The only thing i was upset about was they had very few towels in the apartment. To be fair in the end they gave me more once i complained.\r \r We moved out in December and got our security deposit back a month later which is completely fine because they told us it would take that long\r \r All in all I would recommend this place to anyone, they're upfront with you from the beginning and most importantly the best price I could find in NYC for a furnished short term apartment. The size is also a very spacious for NYC. more

I will NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. Any one can do better with many other rental websites, or airbnb. \r \r I stayed in a studio in this place for two and a half weeks. Nothing is as described in its website. To start with it stated that there was onsite laundry facilities, there was none. The list is very long, there was no toaster, no kettle, no hair dryer. When my husband and I checked in, we were given two thin terry cloth like bath towels, there was no tea towels in the kitchen, the table ware are minimum. I had to complain to get what we wanted. The internet are $100 a month, which is a rip off. I also find that the place was not cleaned at all, even though a $75 cleaning fee is charged each time when it supposed to clean the studio, it is only about 300 square feet or less. Put it this way, it is smaller than half of my living room. The bath curtain has black stains on the bottom, the air-conditioner is placed right next to the bed, so you either switch it off or you have the old banger blasting at you with the noise. The toilet do not flush properly. There is no elevator, the studio we stayed in was 5 flights of stairs up. If you happen to have the one at the back facing the courtyard, there is no light. Not all the light in the place is working. I saw a small mouse dashing into the back of the cooker, and there was a cockroach in the bath room first thing in the morning coming up from the drain. After I complained, we were given a hairdryer, a toaster and two thicker towels and some more tableware. We were told that the laundry facilities was under renovation, that is almost definitely a lie, because there was no renovation activities what so ever. \r \r The location is good, but anyone could do better staying in any other places in the same neighbourhood. more

Where to begin, after being diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2013 I needed a short term furnished apartment close to Sloan Kettering in New York. I stumbled upon the Bridge suites online and ended up booking a studio apartment facing the courtyard on the 3rd floor. \r \r The booking process was a breeze and when I arrived the doorman helped me with all my belongings. The apartment was newly renovated ( I came at the right time since the hallways and lobby just finished being renovated as well) and had new sheets, bed, full kitchen (with a OVEN!!) . the apartment also had a plasma TV!! (with only a few cable channels though). I was missing some towels in my apartment and notified the doorman who had them sent up within minutes. I also bothered him to replace some old light bulbs. The service was great!!\r \r I have to say when staying at the bridge suites I was really hoping to find a place that was quiet, nicely furnished and basically centralized to NY transportation and I did.\r \r Regarding pricing there is a $1,500 security deposit and utilities are not included, which was fine with me since they told me this upfront. Overall the apartment is 4/5 the service was 5/5 the location was 3.5/5. I have a check up in 6 months and I will be returning to the Bridge Suites. more

My wife and I rented a studio apartment and we just loved the accommodation. Our apartment was clean, very comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was also fully furnished and came with a fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed the private outdoor garden which we found to be very relaxing. We were told by the staff the building was completely renovated over the past year. If someone is looking to stay in NY for a month or more this is definitely the place to stay. The location was very convenient. There is a supermarket right across the street and the subway is a 3 minute walk. For the price and location, it was definitely worth it. more

great place 9/17/2009

I would definetely recommend this place. The apartment was nicely furnished and came with a kitchen. I used to stay in hotels and I am so happy I found this place as an alternative. They do require a security deposit, but i guess thats pretty standard in Manhattan. The price was right and the accomodation was good overall. I stayed for two months and I will definitely be using their services again.\r Pros: location and the apts are furnished more

Stay away from this place. 3/2/2009

I don't recommend this to anyone. The studio I rented for $2050/ month did not look anything like the pictures on their website. It was ok until I found out today, over 2 months after I left, and after several phone calls to get my $1,000 security deposit back that Bridge Suites will not only deduct any extra electricity charges ($39.26 in my case) but also an outrageous $200 cleaning fee!!! For a studio I left the way I found it! Stay away from this place. It's a rip-off. Cons: extra cleaning fee of $200; not discussed at lease signing more

DONT EXPECT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK!!! 1/4/2009

They won't tell you upfront, but Bridge Suites will RIP YOU OFF on electricity charges and cleaning charges after the fact. They'll take it out of your security deposit and won't even give you back the remainder until two months after you move out. I felt scammed and wouldn't trust them if I were you. They charged $200 to clean my completely empty studio after my temporary stay, and they charged me for ""excess electricity"" even though I only slept there and the only electricity used was for the fridge! And the policy is to keep the entire security deposit for two months after you move out. Wouldn't feel like such a SCAM if they told you any of this before you move in...... Pros: Available Cons: Dishonest more
