This is the best party place ever. I came here the first time to attend a friend's birthday party at first I thought it would just be like another bar party (the usual stuff) but when I got there, I was really amazed. It's a great place for parties, good service, music really hits and service is really cool. This place rocks! more

I highly recommend Birthday bottle service at 49Grove 3/10/2011

Came here for my bday party. Birthdaybottleservice (Promoter Abe Malkin) hooked us up with a free bottle. It was amazing. The bottle was waiting for us when our party got in. Amazing night. DJ was awesome. It was packed but not too packed. Will def go back again. more

After reading all these bad reviews i was a bit worry about booking my birthday party here. But after speaking to Caesar Silva (manager) he assure me i was gonna have the best time, good music and hassle free at the door. I have to be honest and say that he delivered ALL. Great birthday party! 2/12/2011

I partied here last night for my birthday, oh what a night! The DJ was awesome and took a bunch of requests from my friends. I was hestitant at first to do my party here after a bunch of friends told me how difficult it was to get in but the event planner I used promised me that we wouldn't wait outside at all. He definitely delivered on that promise. We all got right in and also got a comp'd bottle of vodka. I highly recommend using Dave from JSNProductions. com. He was easy to get in touch with and took care of everything. more

I do not understand why there are so many hatters leaving messages for these place. If you did not get in it is because you are not cute enough. And yes you need to stay away! I have been going there for 6 months and I always had fun. DJ Peter parker is my favorite of all the djs more

great find in the West Village 1/4/2011

The first time I came to 49 Grove was for a birthday and my friend had set up an open bar, we had such a great time we even stayed after the open bar ended. The DJ that night was great, and played everything we wanted to hear. When we went back a few weeks later a group of us purchased a bottle and were not let down. We drank until 4am and went back the next night! Can't wait to go back!! more

This place is a #$@$@# basement. It smells like piss..... THEY HAVE FREAKING STANDING FANS IN EACH CORNER. Ghetto bouncer hits on every single girl and then looks at guys like he is going to fight them when they notice that he is eye raping their date. People who 'pop' bottles are popping comped bottles there via promoters. Nothing but tunnel trash. more

Classy Lounge 12/13/2010

I planned my roommates 22nd birthday here and it was a really fun evening. I was stressed out about planning the evening and I was recommended AccessGotham. com by my sisters boyfriend. 49 Grove gave great service all night long and the crowd was awesome. We were given 3 free drink comps when we walked inside and the manager was friendly. Great DJ and tunes! more

Me and my girlfriends love this place. It is less expensive then other NYC clubs, but this place is not less fun! Crowd is usually great, music is mix of 80s, hip-hop, popular music, house, etc.. So I think everybody will have fun. Bottle service worth it too, we were treated like queens =) more

Great Venue 12/9/2010

I went here for a friends 24th and we all had one of best party nights ever. She had AccessGotham a party planning service set it up for her, so we all walked right in with no hassles. We were a large group of 45 and the best part was we got a free bottle! They had this new up and coming DJ, who spun insane remixes and we all danced the night away. Before we all knew it was 3 am! I definitely be considering 49 Grove for my 22nd bday. more

IDIOTS! the management was a 5 year old and a Chinese. and some dude aram sardine, who told me he enjoyed lap dances and long walks on the beach? Horror House 11/5/2010

This place has turned into a Horror House. . . Patrons fighting. . . blood all over the place. . . horrible management. . . Rude and Nasty Owner/Management to employees and patrons. The girls show the fear in their face. . . Have been more than two fights with bottle smashing and blood all over the place in less than a month. I give it another month before this place is forced to close down. more

Best Birthday spot ever!! 9/22/2010

We celebrated my roommates birthday here and it was reallly fun. They give great service all night long and the crowd is awesome. We got a free bottle AND payed no cover because we booked our party through AccessGotham. If you're looking for a really fun spot for any kind of party, 49 Grove is definitely the place to go. more
