While the Tea Lounge (on Union) gets crowded during the day with babies, etc, but it's still a great place to be. Lively yet pleasant loung-y music, lots of comfy couches, and treats from lattes to toasties (my favorite!) -- little smushed grilled cheese sandwiches. It's a great place to meet up with friends, catch-up on your people-watching, and play a game of chess on the giant board. Don't go there counting on it being empty, though. It's a popular place, but that's part of the beauty of the tea lounge. Also try a smoothy. Good stuff.
Pros: casual / comfortable, inexpensive, lively
Cons: , can be overcrowded
