great hair cut by edward tricomi, but my brother bought me a gift certificate for a facial there about a decade ago. i went just before it expired to get the facial, and was told that i didn't need to worry about whether i had the certificate on me because they had it in their books. when i got there, i was told that they changed their rules, and certificates were now required for fulfillment of the gift certificate. it's been almost 10 years now. they never accommodated my request, i never got my facial, and their customer service was so uncaring that i would never go back!!! more

Worst Hair experience ever!!!!! 9/9/2010

I had the worst time ever at a salon. The moment i walked in i was totally ignored by the front desk. I tried to get their attention to tell them i had an appointment but no go. So i sat and waited for it seemed an eternity to get help. Finally got a gown and waited again... Took forever to get washed and cut and dried. Hated my hair and left! more

    Founded in 1996 by colorist Joel Warren, stylist Edward Tricomi and nail care specialist Roxana Pintilie, this salon is regularly featured on TV and exalted in fashion magazines. Done-up in moody Moroccan Gothic decor (think lots of gilded mirrors, rich fabrics and wrought-iron), the large space bustles with a steady stream of clients.     The Services
    A former guitarist, Tricomi is affectionately nicknamed "Edward Scissorhands" for his unique way of cutting; using two shears and snipping at warp-speed, he "sculpts" hair when dry to get a better feel for its natural shape. Warren and his team deliver quality color and definition using Redken products; Pinitlie, founder of the Hardware nail line, offers such treatments as Green Tea and Marine pedicures.
