A good locksmith is hard to come by. If you don't know who your using you could get ripped off. The last time I need a lock smith I used Sentinal Locksmith . They were really fast in getting to see me and did a really good job on all my lock & key problems. They also charge a reasonable price for locksmith services. They also provide 24 hour locksmith services. Highly recommend! more

I called them back in March because my purse was stolen with my house keys in it and didn't feel safe having two small babies and knowing someone has my keys. I said I needed to change 4 locks and asked for a quote. The dispatcher was kind and honest enough to let me know that I don't necessarily have to replace the locks because they can re-key them for me for much less than the cost of new locks. From that moment I felt they're not trying to rip me off and I liked it a lot. Needless to say that the locksmith who came to my house was quick, kind and did a great job! Thanks guys! more

My boss finally gave me a chance to strut my stuff by letting me present my research to the health board. On the day of the presentation, I get locked out of my car 90 minutes before. I called Sentinal lockout services last week and was able to set up an appointment for the locksmith to show up. He showed up on time and worked quickly. He was friendly and patient even though we had some weird stuff going on with the locks - apparently they were really tough to get off the doors, and one of them had even been glued on! The back doorknob jammed and we couldn't get out the back. Who ya gonna call?? We called Sentinal Lockout services at 6pm. He said he'd be there before 7pm. Got here in less than an hr. He replaced the jammed mechanism in 10 minutes and was on his way home for dinner. Filed under 'L' for locksmith. A happy customer! more

Thank goodness one of my friends referred me to this locksmith who came right to my residence. It only took him 1 second to glance at my front door & then he announced, "I can open that bottom lock with a flat head screwdriver in 2 seconds!" Sure enough he jiggled the lock & poked it with his screwdriver & showed me in no time at all *gasp* how unsafe it was. Immediately I agreed that a new lock was a necessity. He informed me that the original lock on this door was one of the first the Schillage lock company produced many years ago. My new apt. is in an ancient building. The guy from Sentinal Lockout Services was very pleasant, efficient, fair, and honest. He showed me how to lock that darn deadbolt backwards (very tricky). He wanted me to feel safe & secure, which is of utmost importance. No longer will I lie awake wondering how vulnerable my place is. Yay for peace of mind! I just moved into a new apt and sure enough I locked myself out. I emailed my landlord and he is missing in action. Sentinal Lockout Service is great! I've used them many times especially for after hour repairs, lock outs, rekeys, etc... They are responsive and their after hour rates are affordable. I had a malfunctioning lock a few weeks ago and the tech was at the building within 20 minutes, even though it was around 11PM. Quick, cheap, knowledgeable, responsive- what more can you ask for? The key broke off in the mailbox in our apartment bldg. After we found out we were responsible for fixing the lock, I started looking and stumbled upon Sentinal Lockout Services. I am pretty sure you don't relish the idea of having your locks changed, and neither do I. Actually, let's talk about the few reasons why anybody would need to have this service, or to call Sentinal Lockout Services & Security Systems in the first place. 1. Your gf/bf is psycho, and you kicked him/her out. 2. You are a dumba$$ and locked yourself out. 3. You don't trust anybody and want more locks. 4. You keys were lost/stolen I called the company and got a swift response. Technician came in 20 mins and changed the locks so quickly that I wonder if I blinked. I went and locked my car keys in my car at 7pm and don't have Triple-A so I had to find someone to unlock my car. I called 4 or 5 other places before I read the below review and and tried this guy. All the other places didn't answer or said they couldn't help me, but he said he would be there in 30 mins and he showed up on time. My car door was unlocked in less than 5 mins. He charged me a fair price, and I'm extremely grateful Sentinal Lockout Services was there for me! more

Amazing company with professionalism written all over it. I broke my key clean in half on Saturday night after trying to lock my apartment door (apparently was unaware of my own strengths). I got a key made from a key maker across the street from me which did not fit in the lock AT all. I googled around and Sentinal Lockout Services & Security Systems came right up. After checking the reviews, I gave them a call. An appointment was made, and the locksmith from Sentinal Lockout Services & Security Systems showed up. I gave him my key and he set to work. Unfortunately, the keyhole was so worn down he ended up having to take off the door panel to remove it, and also removed the one from the trunk and used it to make me a new key. My new key looks NOTHING like my old one. He literally had to install a new lock since the old lock had been so terribly worn down from the inside. He was here from 1:30pm and literally just left right now. Just in case you wanted to know what time it is now, it's currently 5:12. When I came back from the bodega, I apologized for the mess of having to take out the locks and he replied "That's what we locksmiths are here for." Completely reassuring!! I was more than happy to pay for the service which was inexpensive to me. I now have a working key, and if I ever need to get anything re-keyed I will not hesitate to call. HIGHLY recommended!
