Overpriced, rude, late, incompetent (or perhaps just lazy). I sent out three blouses, one for dry cleaning and two for laundering and pressing. The latter two looked as if they hadn't even been pressed. The knit blouse for dry cleaning came back (2 days late) with several pulls and a hole in the fabric. I was told, 'too bad'--no joke. more

Although I love their laundry service (they wash, dry, and fold clothes nicely), I have come to realize that their customer service is unacceptable. The frustration that I have experienced in dealing with aphrodite makes it really hard to justify paying their prices. They are expensive, irresponsible, unreliable, and sometimes they don't tell the truth. Terrible business practice!!!! more

I brought in a pair of pants for waist and hem alteration. I told them I needed them by Saturday to wear for the weekend. They quoted me $20. When I returned they said they mis-charged me and that it was actually $50. They then said the pants went out for pressing (I did not request this). I asked to have them delivered. They never delivered the pants on Saturday and did not call. When I came back Monday they told me they lost them. They still refused to rebate my credit card $30. They later found the pants. They told me they would call me about rebating my credit card later that week and never did. They had terrible customer service and their practice of adding on charges after alteration work has been completed is wrong and unethical. Their laundry is also of a very low quality. more
