If you decide to come here have low expectations! First of all, when I booked, I asked for a customized facial…By the time I was done, I came to find out they booked me for a mini facial which is only 30 minutes long. That is not at all what I wanted. The room they stuck me in had no door. While I was waiting, I could hear and see another client that was getting a facial….very awkward. \r \r The person who worked on me was extremely abrupt and not informative at all…there was a few times she mistakenly pulled a few hairs from my head and she didn’t even apologize. She told me my skin needed help, but she did not say how! All she said was that I should SPF 45. No recommendations, no tips, no suggestions on their products…truly a lost opportunity. I felt uncomfortable and rushed out the door. There are very cold people working here! \r \r As for my skin, I broke out soon after coming here. After some recommendations, I bought some La Mer cream and found a new place to get some facials. \r more

As a grown woman who has been battling with adult acne for 4 years, you can imagine I have tried everything under the sun. I didn't realize until this visit that not only did I have acne scarring, but my complexion was blotchy which made my acne scars look worse. I have had only 2 extremely minor unnoticable pimples come on my chin in a two week timespan where as before, I was would break out in 2 to 5 different places on an everyday basis. I’m 25 yrs now and suffering with adult acne for years and I have been tried so many acne products, facial massages and different laser treatments including fraxel, Gemini and etc. I had no problems with acne before, so it really frustrated me a lot. A month ago, I had done my deep pore cleansing and the first IPL treatment with Carole and was really impressed with the results I got. I have had really bad hormonal acne around my chin and neck area, the IPL laser cleared up most of my acne there. I have noticed that I have much fewer breakouts, my pores look much smaller and I have less blackheads which were really bad all over my face. Just few days ago, I had another IPL treatment with Katherine, she also did nice job on my face and now I am waiting for another magical results. Before I went to SLR I suffered from moderate acne, it was very frustrating and discouraging! After only a few treatments from Carole and Katherine my skin showed drastic improvements! Both were very thorough and took the time to give me the treatment that was necessary for my skin. The environment was very clean, relaxed, and comfortable. Light music, trendy, and most of all PROFESSIONAL! I actually did a lot of research on the internet, and consulted with a few different spas before I decided on which place to go to. At Skin Laser Rejuvenation I was greeted by a very sweet guy at the front desk who asked me if he could get me anything (kleenex, tea, water). I waited about five minutes in a lovely waiting area and was taken in to have the most informative consultation out of all the places I visited. All of the lasers and procedures were thoroughly explained to me, and I decided to sign up for a package of 3 treatments for my legs, Brazilian bikini, and underarms. I had a 'patch' test so that I could experience what the laser felt like, and to see how my skin reacted. Although I was very anxious, the aesthetician was able to answer more of my questions, and calm me down before the treatment. I was so pleased with my services that I signed up for a chemical peel package (5 treatments with the 6th one free), which I was also very satisfied with. I was happy to refer my sister, (who also signed up for a leg/Brazilian bikini/underarm package.) For so many years I used all sorts of treatments to remove hair and lighten dark spots on my face. Most of them can be classified under the general category of torture with little to no results!!! I relented to modern technology when I read about how lasers had made such a difference in beauty treatments and it took me some time to decide to take the plunge, so to speak. After all. I only have 1 face. I did do extensive research and discovered the clues to picking the best place for the treatments I were interested in. i had ONE ipl treatment after going in for a facial. instead, i was sat down and given my ""consultation,"" or hard sell for ipl due to some very minor broken capillaries. i'm 31 and have always been told i have great skin and look like i'm in my early 20s. w/i wks i noticed a change in texture of my skin. as months went by so did all the volume in my face. it has been extremely traumatic to say the least. these other reviews seem awfully suspicious to me. who remembers the name of every person at a biz? anyway, google IPL and FAT LOSS b/f ever considering one of these treatments. i was NOT planning on doing this and just got talked into it. the biggest mistake of my life. i now look 10-20 yrs older. Up until just over a year ago, I had moderate to severe cystic acne. At 23, I had suffered with terrible, unmanageable, unsightly, painful skin for about 10 yrs. A friend recommended that I go to Carole Burns and receive SLR treatments. This friend’s skin looked as clear as porcelain and this was a relatively new development. Even though it was clear that her skin had radically transformed, I was still skeptical about how these treatments would affect me. I had literally tried EVERYTHING. I washed my face at least twice a day. Even when I came home after a late night out and was practically too exhausted to change into PJs, I still went through a skincare ritual.
