Step back into an old fashioned Diner experience 8/23/2005

When the quality of the food is second to just the experience of being in a low key old fashioned diner, this is the place to come. It's all edible, just not leading edge, and the portions are large, especially of the starches! It's like going to your best friends' mother's house for lunch or dinner! Very comfortable place, but the chairs do get hard after a bit - so if available, go for a booth. more

The Silver Star 8/10/2005

Typical diner fare, at okay prices. A friend compares the decor to something out of the Titanic. It's all dark and such, and makes one feel as if one is the bottom of a ship. Nice high-backed booths in the front of the restaurant. The food is pretty good-- I recommend the Portabello Mushroom or the Grilled Shrimp salad. more
