I normally never write reviews or testimonials, but I made myself to write this one after dealing with Shenoa Diamonds company. Nowadays everything can be done through the Internet, but I was always afraid of buying expensive items this way. So, let me tell you about my my first successful diamond purchase online. It was my bosom friend who gave me the link to Shenoa Diamonds site. She did this to hear my opinion on diamond earrings she was going to buy for herself. I followed the link and said that I approve her choice. I was about to close the tab but then I realized that I wanted to look what they have there in the catalogue besides those nice earrings. We live in Westchester county but every so often we take the train to Grand Central and come to Manhattan for a dinner or a Broadway show or sometimes for shopping for bargains. After seeing all these TV commercial about cash for gold I decided to make use of some old jewelry that was stuck in the bottom of the drawer. Every so often a person needs a new piece of jewelry to celebrate an occasion or an accomplishment. Well, finally when my book deal went through I decided to my myself that pair of diamond stud earrings I have been dreaming about. I wanted to buy them in person rather than online so I went to the NY Diamond District's website to find about about few reputable jewelers on 47th street. I picked three stores and then checked out their web sites. In the end I decided to call and make an appointment with their diamond consultant at Shenoa & CO. They were more than helpful with my requests and questions. From a nice selection of diamonds with certificates I picked a one carat each princess shaped diamonds in 18K white gold. Two days later they were ready to be picked up so I took them to the IGI gem laboratory for an appraisal even though Shenoa & Co. gave me one at free of charge. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were valued over 2000 more than I paid. Now every time I wear it people just go awestruck so I tell them where I got them from. more
