i should have checked citysearch 1st before even entering this place. $20 for ""grilled"" salmon that should really be called lightly fried salmon to me is unreasonable. it tasted somewhere in between bad and so so. the vegetable that came with it was ok but the carrots was boiled to death and the rice was a complete bore. the service however was good and that's the only reason they're getting 2 stars. what i take away from this experience is always check citysearch before going in an unfamiliar restaurant. more

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY !!!!! $$$$$$$ super prices for super low quality food!!!! what a bad joint !!!! a disgrace for the HONORABLE DINERS of Manhattan,the ruben was a complete joke!!!! 7 $ orange juice 15 $ 2 eggs 3 strips of bacon 3 $ coffee and if you tipped make sure to check the 18% gratuity already included !!!! 2 people seating 51 $ !!!! more

Avoid Rolls 7/2/2008

They re-serve the rolls, no matter how many people have touched them they always go back to the kitchen and are heated up and served again. The food was mediocre, at best. And overpriced. more

There is not a week that goes by where I don't eat at this diner!!! Its close to my apartment and work but I think I would make the trip even if I lived in Brooklyn! We go after the bar since they are open late and early morning for some omlettes or even for dinner since the menu has EVERYTHING!! They have the BEST diner food in the area... and if you get the young waiter, he's so good and helpful. Check it out when in the area! more

Breakfast served all day 3/18/2007

If you want to stop for a quick bite that serves breakfast regardless of the time of day this would be a good place to eat. The food was good, the menu was expansive and the servers were efficient. The waffles with strawberries and cream are presented nicely and there is more then enough to fill you up. The coffee is just ok and the food is a bit overpriced for the overall quality. Pros: Breakfast Served All Day Cons: Value more

Awful service, outrageously overpriced, mediocre food 6/23/2006

This place is nothing short of abyssmal. The food, while standard diner food, is mediocre at best. They make all of their money, however, on beverages. Don't order a big glass of juice, as they'll bring you the $7.50 glass that isn't even listed on the menu. Don't order water as they'll bring you a bottle of Poland Spring at $2.50. Breakfast for 3 was well over 50 dollars. The waitress was obnoxious and rude when we questioned the juice bill, and was clearly irritated when she found out we were from the area rather than tourists she could scam for even more money. I would not go back if they were giving away $100 bills in the food. Cons: Way Overpriced more
