I went to Dr. Sobel for a skin condition that I had been trying to get rid of for about a year. I was treated by the physician's assistant, but I am THRILLED with my results. BEST BOTOX IN TOWN 5/7/2008

i HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL DOCTORS OVER THE YEARS TO HAVE BOTOX AND NOT ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED. I DON' LIKE THE FROZEN TIGHT LOOK THAT CAN HAPPEN. THREE YEARS AGO I SWITCHED TO DR. SOBEL AND HE ALWAYS GETS IT RIGHT. HE LEAVES THE FOREHEAD SO IT STILL MOVES SLIGHTLY AND IT LOOKS VERY NATURAL. I'VE SENT MANY OF MY FRIENDS AND ALL HAVE BEEN HAPPY. best lips in town 5/5/2008

I have had 3 treatments with silicone in my lips. they are natural looking and i do not have those little lines around my mouth that lets the lipstick melt into. after three treatments i am done and the result is permanent. dr. sobel will not do overly puffed up lips. he knows when to say no. Don't go 4/1/2008

I was actually a patient/client for 2 years. I wanted filler in my smile lines and he used silicone; which I thought was okay since he is a well-known Park Ave doctor; now I read it can be problematic. BUT it is true that his asssistants seem to boss him around and he consults them at every step where he should inject; which I guess is okay that he has a team approach. My biggest complaint was I was told I would need 3 treatments and wound up with 14 treatments at almost $10,000! (but I couldn't stop in the middle). Pros: Big name Cons: everything more

liposuction 3/12/2008

I recently had liposuction on my neck and the results were just fabulous. It took only about 20 minutes to do in the office. The change in my face is very dramatic for such a simple procedure. I love it! Pros: great ,easy procedure Cons: cannot wait to do another area more

I I have gone to dr. sobe 2x and am very satisfied, he does a combination of botox and fillers that take years off of your face. i am 55 years old and look a decade younger. he uses this filler called Radiesse in my cheeks and it lifted my whole face. try to be an early appointment as he tends to get very busy later in the day. restylane injections for an instant ""face Lift"" 1/7/2008

Dr. Sobel suggested Restylane filler for my cheeks and it took ten years off of my face. it took 10 minutes and no pain involved. what an amazing transformation. i got a gift certificate from my friends for a botox treatment and it was great! what was really amazing that Dr. Sobel accepts my insurance so i was able to have my psoriasis treated for just a co-payment. the office Pros: gorgeous office. dr. sobel best in city Cons: you want to have everything done more

They must have gotten paid some kind of money to have written those GOOD COMMENTS. He's easily the worst doctor I have been to and I'm an RN. He kept me waiting for almost 2 hours. His lack of knowledge and the way he completely dismissed me were what bothered me. Looks can be deceiving with his nice office but he should be completely avoided. more

Happy Birthday to Me! 10/11/2007

I had a big birthday coming up and wanted to treat myself so I booked an appointment for microdermabrasion. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap (this is a high end office with a very reputable MD). I had a very positive experience and absolutely loved the results. I've been back for additional treatments and so far its the best birthday present ever! I've also recommended Dr Sobel to a friend who got Botox, and although its pricey, she said the results were amazing. If you want great results and the comfort of knowing you are in good hands, this is the place. Pros: Skilled professionals; excellent results Cons: gets a little pricey more

Best Derm on UES 10/10/2007

I have been going to Dr. Sobel's office for years. I would not go anywhere else. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. They always put me at ease and I am always pleased with my outcome. I would recommend Dr. Sobel for everything from a rash to a facial to laser hair removal. It also doesn't hurt that the office is absolutely beautiful. GO NOW! Pros: great staff more

I had restylane in my cheeks and i love it ! Dr. Sobel gets busy during the middle of the day so it's best to see him as a first or last appointment. I have been using lucy for facials for 5 years and there is no one like her. I would not let anyone else touch my skin. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Sobels Skin and Spa. I think for the most part its good but I never want to go again because I can not stand the way the receptionist speaks to me. I am the patient and I pay $$$$$$$ to go there. She is over botoxed and rude. Its a shame. Go elsewhere and be appreciated. more

The minute you step in to his ultra fab Park Avenue practice you will never want to leave! You can get everything from botox to lasers to facials....oh my. It never ends and it is so addicting. I have been getting Botox treatments from Dr. Sobel for five years. He makes me look ""natural"" and not frozen. His assistants always make me feel comfortable. The office is beautiful and relaxing. I have been having facial at Dr. Sobel's for 5 Years with Lucy and there is no one better. Dr. Sobel does Botox for my mother and she loves him. the medical assistants who work with him are fun end efficient. They make you feel very comfortable.
