I was referred to Dr. Luis Navarro at the Vein Treatment Center by another Dr. in NYC. Dr. Navarro's credentials are impeccable and with a patent for his invention of an Endovenous Laser Ablation treatment which is now practiced worldwide I knew I had found the best. I came to Dr. Navarro with a few spider veins and was greeted by a very kind and professional staff. The waiting room is immaculate and I was treated within 5 minutes of arriving. I wasn't really sure what to expect but my treatment was painless and I am extremely pleased with the results. Thanks to all who made my experience a good one. more

She has done such a great job with my legs that now my confidence level is much higher than it ever was.\r \r Her personality and character will show you that she will strive to give you the best results possible. I am proof of that.\r \r I purchased a level 1 package...it was so worth it. And the office does not pressure you in buying it either. They always give you time to think things over. \r \r By the way, the procedure is virtually painless. That's the best part! But if you're ultra sensitive like me there is a numbing cream that works wonders.\r \r All the assistants and office staff were great as well. I want to thank the Vein Treatment Center for all of their help with not only treating my painful leg veins but also for making me feel comfortable and welcomed. Lisa was extremely helpful with all of my paperwork and with my insurance company, she always called me back and made sure that I understood everything that was going on. The office is very clean and the entire staff is incredibly sweet (I even got tea and cookies after my treatment). I would highly recommend everyone to get their leg veins treated here. Great staff-great treatment! 3/20/2012

I had a great experience here!!!! Dr Navarro and his team are extremely professional and very thorough!!!.... Lisa Grassia, is the Practice Administrator is extremely helpful in explaining all your options that you can choose from and helpful with sending all forms to your insurance company. I look forward to going back to complete the other leg....I would love to see a testimonial page from about 10 patients...to share their recovery experience. That way you have a range of how your recovery may be...it's a little road map and could maybe be helpful! :) more

Love my legs! 2/26/2012

I want to thank Dr Navarro and his staff for making my legs beautiful again. It was a little expensive, and I was scared to go at first but now I wouldn't go anywhere else. Its well worth the price and the entire office put me at ease. The cold air machine is a miracle, the injections felt like a little pinch. Thank you again, Dr. Navarro!! more

Bad experience, go elsewhere 12/19/2011

I had a bad experience here. I thought the staff was abrupt and there is a high turnover among the professionals doing the vein treatment. If you're lucky, you'll get someone who has worked here for a while. But all too commonly you'll get someone who just signed on and who simply does not do a good job. You'd be better off going to a place with longer-serving, more experienced, professionals and not take the risk of finding yourself with a rookie. Who needs that with these prices? more

Nice place, too pricey. 11/7/2011

I went a couple of times recently and am just getting around to the review. Pros: The place is IMMACULATE. Super clean, which is important when you're getting pricked. Also, the staff is really nice. I had a groupon and the 2nd time I went, I felt the person giving the treatment was a bit more abrupt--but in general, no complaints here about the staff. I was seen promptly. Everything explained in detail. Con: And reason I didn't give it 5 stars. The Price. It's SUPER expensive. The charge by the number of pricks you get (for sclerotherapy) so I quickly realized it would cost a small fortune to have both of my legs done. The results I got with them were ok (only went a couple of times) and ended up finishing my treatment with an endovenous surgeon--it was much cheaper and frankly, I saw the results a bit faster (the new guy I go to is affiliated with a major hospital and my regular doctor referred him to me.) If Vein Treatment Center lowered their prices, it would be a sure thing. more

Always a wonderful experience! 10/29/2011

I haven't been seen at the VTC in a few years, but I would never think about going anywhere else. The years I was seen at VTC I had a wonderful experience and the before and after shots proved it. After treatment I was advised to buy support stockings (sold at the pharmacy one block away) and continue to work out. Do not cross your legs or sit for long periods at a time. Good circulation is important. more

The best service EVER! 8/6/2011

I was recently treated for varicose veins and spider veins, and it has been life changing. I had surgery for my varicose veins, the procedure was fast and very efficient. The staff was very nice and professional. There was no wait time every time I went for my sclerotherapy treatments. The Doctors are very knowledgable and precise in instructions. There is no doubt in my mind that I made the right choice in coming to The vein treatment center. I am very happy with my results and I am looking forward to having more treatments done! more

Disappointed 7/16/2011

I went in November 2010 for injections to my spider veins. This was my first time in general. The staff is very nice, I had no waiting time and the doctors were nice as well. That is why I am giving it 2 stars. But - I was burnt due to the injections. Not only was I burnt on my ankle but when I went back to the clinic in severe ankle pain, I was not told what this wound was. They acted as if it was nothing, gave me a creme and sent me home. It took 3 months to heal and now I have a dark, round scar on my right ankle that looks like a cigarette burn. I went to see another doctor, who told me that this happened due to the treatment. My spider veins came back and on top of it I have a nasty scar. Never again. I now work out a lot, use Arnica Gel, Witch Hazel and take Silica. more

Do not do laser at this place 5/26/2011

I have had an okay experience with injections at this place but if they tell you that you need the laser, run the other way. Every time they've used the laser, it cost me $500 bucks and it made my veins WORSE. I'm so upset by the fact that I'm out like $2K and my veins look worse than they did before I went there. I think their lasers are really outdated. There are a lot of new ones out so you're better off at a place that has better equipment. more

Wow, just wow. 1/5/2011

I was really blown away, I thought I needed surgery to get rid of my varicose veins. My mother had to have anesthesia to have hers removed and the scars were almost as bad as having varicose veins. I did the endolaser procedure and I took the day off because I thought I'd need to go home right after. I went shopping instead. Dr. Navarro was wonderful, maybe it was a good day for him but I got the impression that he cared a lot about me as a patient. I know he cared about my legs because they look great now. I'm going to wear shorts this summer for the first time in years. more

This office deserves recognition! 11/29/2010

I have been seeing the physicians at The Vein Treatment Center for a couple years and every time I return, there are new advances that THEY have discovered. Dr.Navarro has obviously mastered his specialty, and in turn, has trained the physicians and P.A.'s at the center to take care of their patients in a manner that is second to none. They are all so wonderful that I left there recently feeling even more confident about the appearance of my leg and hand veins that I wanted them to have some recognition.
