A good made-to-order carpentry store. Basic wood tables, wardrobes, beds, desks, etc. Good for kids' rooms, since it is basic, sturdy, and paintable.
It's like Gothic Cabinet Craft except smaller and a little cheaper.
They have ready-made pieces, but the best part is their custom design. I once sketched this crazy windowseat/radiator cover/storage unit idea, and they immediately began to design how this thing could actually get built. They are honest too: they advised me against bringing my Dr. Seuss-esque creation to life. I like merchants who are responsible enough to reject business.
We also have a white-washed pine wardrobe from there. Very nice.
