i am a loyal mikais customer have been for the past 2 years have never had a problem the employees there are so helpful . the hair is the best and there prices is way better than any other hair companies that sell custom blend hair . love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

The hair is a MESSSSS the track is too thick and it looks SYNTHETIC. I have had store brought hair that looks way better then this hair , I kept mine for 3 days I couldnt take it!!! The hair shed and the color ran and ruined my clothes. Soo dont waste ur $$$$ but they say u get what u pay for!! And when I went to complain they did nothing but call the cops !!! more

AS I FIRST REPORTED IN AUGUST OF 2009- THE HAIR WAS OF GOOD QUALITY. LET ME SHARE MY EXPERIENCE ONE YEAR LATER. I PURCHASED THE HAIR IN LATE AUGUST>>> I RELOCATED DOWN SOUTH AND WHILE IN THE SOUTH. I WENT SWIMMING ALMOST EVERYDAY, THE HAIR (SPANISH WAVVY) WAS EXPOSED TO ALL THE ELEMENTS / CHEMICALS OF POOL WATER. IN ADDITION, I WENT TO SEVERAL BEACHES IN NORTH CAROLINA. LET ME STATE FOR THE RECORD/ I COULDNT BELIEVE THE DURABILITY AND QUALITY OF THE HAIR AFTER BEING EXPOSED TO CHORLINE ON A DAILY BASIS.......THE HAIR MAINTAINED ITS SHINE AND WAVE , I CANT SAY THERE WAS NO TANGLING OR SHEDDING BECAUSE THERE WAS.....BUT NOT AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT IT REMAINED WITHIN THE NORMAL LIMITS OF TANGLE/SHEDDING FOR ANY EXTENSION HAIR!!! I STILL HAVE THE HAIR TO THIS DAY MARCH 13, 2011...AND IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE....ALL I HAVE TO DO IS SIT THE HAIR IN THE SINK WITH CONDITIONER FOR A FEW MINUTES , WASH AND RINSE AND IT IS BACK TO NORMAL. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WHEN U PURCHASE REAL AUTHENTIC HUMAN HAIR >>THERE WILL BE SOME BAD BATCHES OF HAIR>>>BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THE QUALITY OF THE HAIR SUPPLIER IS BAD ......IT MEANS THAT UNFORTUNATELY U GOT A BAD BATCH....I CAN ATTEST THAT MIKAI'S HAIR IS OF QUALITY LIKE WENDY WILLIAMS STATES>>>>MY HAIR HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO ALL OF THE ELEMENTS WITHIN ONE YEAR...AND I WILL TELL YOU THE HAIR AUTOMATICALLY SNAPPED BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE AFTER WASHING AND CONDITIONING....I WILL STAY WITH MIKAI'S FOR ETERNITY.....MY EXPERIENCE WITH G&G WAS HORRIBLE I WENT TO THEM TWICE AND EVERYTIME...THE HAIR WAS SHEDDING AT ABNORMAL RATES...I MEAN HAIR ALL OVER THE BATHROOM FLOOR, SINK, WALLS, CURTAINS...OUT THE BATHROOM DOOR , ALL OVER THE HOUSE....THE DYE (BLACK) WAS SO EXTENSIVE I RUINED SO MANY GOOD SHIRTS, ROBES ETCC....IT WAS A COMPLETE MESS !!!! I CALLED THE STORE AND THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE HAIR BACK....THE HAIR WAS GREAT FOR THE FIRST 2 WEEKS AFTER THAT ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. more

I have come to Mikai's twice and both visits were great! I personally like curly/straight combination 16-18"" and it doesn't shed as much as the ""packs"" of hair would or nearly at all, and the quality is wonderful. Definitley recommed mikai's to everyone I know. Its worth the $$ you spend on it. more

This place is nothing more than an overpriced beauty supply. I brought 6 ounces of spanish wavy hair from them. Within three days the hair started feeling very rough, It began matting. I had to go to my beauty salon to get a wash and set because I could not tame the hair. As soon as my hair dresser began to feel my hair she asked me Where I had gotten the hair, because it was FAKE. My sis-n-law has a hair salon and generally gets all of her hair for her clients from LA. When she heard about Mikai's, she and I took a ride uptown to check it out. What a great place! Comfy, good music AND the quality of hair is remarkable! They're quick and reasonable and all of my sis-n-law's clients love that they don't have to order from LA in a pinch. Yay Mikai's!
