We went for a weekend lunch recently and were very happy with our choice--the $15 lunch prix fixe buys you an appetizer of a large hanger of assorted sausages, a basket of fruits/vegetables, gherkins, and the house-made terrine de pate, as well as your choice from a large list of entrees (not just the trifecta of chicken, fish, and veggie options you're usually limited to at prix fixe joints) Salmon and calf's liver were both good--not forging into uncharted gastronomic territory but cooked well and satisfying. Service was warm, friendly and unpretentious, atmosphere was relaxed, and even though we were probably munching on the appetizers for over an hour we were never rushed. Overall, a great place for a filling, pleasant meal for a beyond-reasonable price.
Pros: Price, tasty terrine, unpretentious
Cons: A walk from the nearest train line
