Larkin Employment Agency

This agency contacted me about a job they had posted on Craigslist, and asked me to interview. After the interview I was told there may be a job available for me, not the one I applied to, but another. I was asked by Nancy, my interviewer, to call back on the following day. When I called she said that nothing was available right now, and I should call back again on the day after, without even mentioning the position that was proposed previously. I only wish I had not wasted my time to visit their office. Thank God I did not pay for their ""service"". Pros: the reception lady was pretty friendly. Cons: they don't find you a job, even though they advertise many. more

Complete waste of time! My experience post interview was just horrible. Nancy comes off as being very supportive at first but the previous review was correct: she is always too busy to talk to you after she insists that you call back. And when I did call, I felt as if I was an annoying her. Basically, I wouldn't recommend this agency. more

Larkin Agency has been a place where I can turn to in my carrier of dentistry for over 15 years. The staff is wonderful and caring but best of all they will try their best to place you where your qualifications are best met. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Medical or Dental Field. At first I was very hopeful. Nancy seems like a really nice lady who wants to help, but at the end of the day, it's a business and she doesn't really care. She just wants to get paid from the employers she's working for. She can care less about you and finding you a job. As long as someone is hired for one of the jobs she represents, she's happy. She takes on more than she can handle. She kept telling me to call back, but when I did, she was always too busy to talk to me. She'll tell you that she has the perfect position for you, and won't follow through on it. I just felt like it was a complete waste of my time. Such a waste of time. If you want to find a job within the medical field, it's better if you go to the places yourself. See if they are hiring or maybe go to some other agency. NOT LARKIN! more

I sent my resume to Larkin Medical Agency and was contacted the next day for an interview. At my interview, we discussed my long-term and short-term career goals and I was scheduled for an interview right then, and another one the next day. I was offered the perfect job on my first interview. I have never had a placement agency match my needs so closely and promptly. I highly recommend Larkin Medical Agency. more
