The West End is know for its bar and all-around great food. They have a huge menu with reasonably priced salads, sandwiches and burgers. I'm told that the wings are the greatest and keep people coming back. It's a nice place to relax and sit outside when the weather's nice. more

Good for pub grub. It's what you would expect. 9/2/2005

This local Columbia U. haunt is a good place to get your pub grub on. The menu is extensive, cheap, and filled with all of your guilty pleasures (think burgers, wings, fries). There is plenty of seating (to include outdoor & bar), and the atmosphere is okay. Waitstaff is typically spot on and as friendly as a college student making $2 an hour usually is. For parents, the restaurant will begrudgingly let you bring your stroller to the table, but not without giving you the stink eye first. Good specials ($5 cheeseburger, fries & drink on occassion) and good prices. Casual atmosphere. more

Old photos of Ivy League athletes set the mood in the dim front room, while the back's tangerine walls and checkered floor foster a brighter, tropical vibe. Both sections have their own deluxe bars where beer and frozen cocktails are served late into the night.
