I paid $55 for cleaning and they lost $135 worth of new clothing. What's worse, despite writing out what was missing and leaving my name and phone number no one ever called me back. On my third try, I spoke to the manager about a week ago. She said she would speak to the owner and get back to me but I have yet to hear back and I don't expect to. Extremely poor service! more

This place is an unmitigated disaster. After a couple orders where they seemed generally flaky but things were fine, they lost clothes in my order and were never able to find them. Their receipts arent organized and a bunch of stores feed into one central plant, so heaven help you if (when) they lose your stuff. Just read the other reviews and buyer beware. I lost a lot of weight and of course i needed to do something with that. I brought all my cloth to Ana,she did it all and i couldn`t even tell that those items were redone. Nice job. P.S. But cleaner could be better. Pros: Ask for Ana...she is the best. more

Clean and Green. This company has raised the bar and set the new standard for dry cleaning in NYC. I've done the research and every aspect of this company is Green. From bio diesel trucks, bio degradable plastic, recylcled garment bags, and smart cars. And Co2 technology is truly the greenest way to dry clean. Alot of companies on the West Coast are hip to this technology and we on the Not so Eco East Coast are just catching on. Way to go Green Apple. You guys are the best and GREENEST in NYC, period. I would recommend this company and it's services to everyone. Finally a company is providing a service and being Environmentally aware about it's impact. this company seems to be making green in a GREEN way. We need more companies in NYC like this. I was excited that Green Apple just opened a new location on the UWS on Columbus Avenue. If you're in the area, avoid it. I dropped off four shirts, a blazer, a suit and a pair of pants. When I called to schedule a delivery, I was asked if I remembered what those items looked like. Um... I didn't, but the clerk said that ""they would figure it out"" and deliver to me the next day. I would not recommend Green Apple Cleaners to my worst enemy. They are rude, disorganized, lose clothes and refuse to do anything about it. Good luck and God bless if you send anything to them. more

Green Apple Cleaners is a huge threat to New York's established dry cleaning industry. The cost of implementing the safer, greener, cleaner technology is prohibitive. Thus far, this is an investment that the establishment has been unwilling to make. The source of the negative reviews is no doubt a conflicted competitor. I have not bothered to write a review before but unfortunately my experience with GAC has been so bad I feel I have to. Have had constant problems with their pick ups - I reckon they have missed pick ups at least 50% of the time. This time around, after trying to get a pick up for 3 days, multiple missed appointments, including today when they even named the hour so I would give them one last chance, I have given in and decided to use someone else. Bizzarely they have never missed a return, as far as I know. Anyhow, believe me, based on my experience it's unworkable and they have wasted a ton of my time. more

Not sure why businesses don't get that we can just go somewhere else. Totally worth walking five blocks over.... Customer service was horrible.
