fabulous food, impeccable service, wouldn't change a thing 6/3/2007

Gourmet Gal hosted a morning-after-the-wedding brunch for us, and it couldn't have been more wonderful. Everything was delicious, artfully presented, and rapidly replenished when the guests descended for seconds and thirds. "I'm still stuffed from last night" soon turned into "Wow! That French toast; those pastries; can I please have your card!" Karen Burman (the "Gal" behind Gourmet Gal) is a pleasure to deal with, impeccably professional, and a Sandra Bullock look-alike to boot. It doesn't get any better than this! Pros: All thumbs waaaaaay up Cons: Not a one. more

Best Caterer 2/4/2007

Gormet Gall was hired to plan a wedding on very short notice--not that anyone would have been able to tell. They did a fantastic job. The food was excellent, and the presentation original, beautiful and exciting. We could not have been more pleased. The staff was wonderful-- professional, friendly and efficient. As plans were modified along the way, the ideas kept coming and the flexibility was remarkable. A fabulous evening was created that received raves from all the guests. Very, very highly recommended! Best and most creative caterer in New York City 1/12/2007

My wife and I hired Gourmet Gal to cater our wedding in Manhattan, NYC in the fall of 2006. To say we were satisfied is an understatement. Gourmet Gal worked with us constantly as our budget shifted. She presented us with fantastic food that we still recieve compliments on, she was present throughout the event and her staff was terrific, well dressed, friendly and second to none in professionalism. We had specific contributions from family regarding how the event would occur and Gourmet Gal was flexible and helpful every step of the way. When we needed to reach her she was avaiable. In a word, she was, fantastic. We highly recomend Gourmet Gal. Pros: All! From food to service- everything was top shelf! Cons: none. more

I have had gourmet Gal food many times, and it is always excellent. Unique presentations, clearly a lot of thought goes into how to make food an integral part of any business/party experience. more

We had a large company event (with some pretty picky customers as well!) and it went great. What impressed me was the combination of quality of food and the ability to get the most for our budget. Reputation well-deserved here, would hire in the future. more

Hired for our corporate theme-based party 1/28/2006

Number of people present was a little over 100. No complaints at all, everything went smoothly. Most appreciated was the creativity (came up with some good ideas for the food that went well with our theme) and the freshness of the food. Recommended, and will likely use again. Our event went extremely well... 12/10/2005

Found Gourmet Gal through this City Search site and used for one of our corporate events. Number of people there was about 150. Food and service were both upscale and top quality. I was quite nervous beforehand because the event was on somewhat short notice but there were no problems. I'm getting married next year and will probably use Gourmet Gal for that as well. Pros: quality, attitude Cons: none more

Hired for large party, 200 people: VERY good 11/6/2005

Very high-level food and presentation. Went off without a hitch. Our crowd was packed full of very picky executives and I heard many people remarking on how good the food was. Would use again without hesitation. more
