Great place for laser hair removal 3/11/2009

I am a light skin male who was tired of shaving my back and so was my fiance. I decided to have a consultation at Gentle Touch after being referred from my fiances friend. I started my treatments about 8 months ago and now I am hair free. My fiance loved my results she decided to start treatments on her legs. She has only done three treatments but her results are great. The hairs start to thin out after a few treatments and start growing back very slowly. I would recommend them for hair removal. You will love it! 3/9/2009

I was commuting to Manhattan from Brooklyn to have laser at Gentle Touch for about 6 months. I was receiving greats results and thought I could go somewhere closer to my house to receive laser, I was assuming all laser centers are the same. I ended up getting burnt at this other place, what a mistake I made. I am now back at Gentle Touch and am glad I made the switch back which is well worth the commute. Great service and results with my treatments! more

My choice for laser! 3/5/2009

If your looking to have your unwanted hair removed and your looking for good prices and a welcoming staff, then search no more! I am often comparing prices with atmosphere, Gentle Touch Laser is excellent! From their lovely staff, who is so polite and courteous, to their amazingly knowledgeable Owners. They really surpass any other laser center. I am a physician and my expectations are set very high and Gentle Touch has met my expectations throughout my treatments! more

Very honest and professional center 3/3/2009

After spending a fortune at another center in the city, trying to get rid of my back hair, I came across Gentle Touch. Sorry I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was very honest with me and told me I would need a few more sessions to get rid of the hair because the other center was not using their equipment effectively. I did about 10 sessions with my old center and I only saw a small reduction. They explained to me about their new system they were using would be able to rid of my hair. After only three sessions, the hair is growing back much finer and barely noticeable at all. They feel I will only need two more and I will be hair free. Great thing is I have a guarantee with my sessions. My appointments almost always began on time, I think one time I waited 15 minutes but it was popular that day. I am happy to come across Gentle Touch and their honesty about my results. Pros: Honest staff and results more

I wouldn't think about another center 3/3/2009

Gentle Touch Laser is by far the best hair removal place to go to in Manhattan. Their staff is super courteous and their treatments are very effective. I suggest them to anyone interested in laser ( they do have a referral program ) and all I get is positive feedback. I prefer to have my treatments with Michelle, she is very knowledgeable and I have never had an issue with her treatments. Amazing service and facility! 3/3/2009

The first time I came to Gentle Touch I was really happy to receive such great service from the staff. I have been living in NYC for almost 6 years and it is very rare to receive excellent service, only other place I can think of is my dry cleaners. The management is very professional, technicians are so friendly and they have real lasers at their facility. I was impressed with the fact that I was greeted by one of the owners, very friendly individual. He initially did my consult explaining everything about skin type to structure of treatment schedule and also about what I should be seeing for my results. Everything he stated has come through. I believe in under-promising and over delivering. Definitely an over delivery! Pros: Results are simply amazing Cons: Nothing here more

So unbelievable!! I finished treating my legs after a few sessions with Gentle Touch. My results are incredible. At first I was nervous but now I am in love with laser. Much easier and cheaper than waxing. 3/3/2009

I was a consistent waxer and I thought it was convenient and cheap. After sitting down with the technician at Gentle Touch and going over the costs of waxing for life or just having laser sessions, it is much cheaper in the long run for laser. Also laser is permanent and I wouldn't have to keep coming back after my sessions. I just purchased a package and received my first session. I was one of Gentle Touch's first clients about 4 years ago and they have such a great staff. I did laser hair removal on my bikini, legs, and underarms. My bikini and underarms required a few more treatments than my legs. Besides that I have not had any regrowth since I have finished my treatments. They are a group of friendly professionals that really deliver on their customer service. I never felt rushed or pressured from the staff. I was always able to book my appointments when needed. Having my bikini and legs lasered with Michelle. She is truly fantastic. She really takes her time to ensure a perfect session and she quoted me a price that was unbelievably affordable. I also received a guarantee with their services, this is great and not many places offer this with their laser sessions. I was referred by a friend and they gave her a gift certificate as part of their referral program. As for results, I have done 4 treatments so far and I would say 80 percent of my hair is gone, maybe more because it hasn't grown back in 4-5 weeks. Highly recommended! I have been coming to Gentle Touch for all my laser treatments. I started with my upper lip and then moved on to other areas as I saw the results really working. Now I am basically lasering my whole body. I have very sensitive skin and I very happy with how my technician pays special attention to make sure I receive the best treatments. My skin is so soft now and I have no ingrowns at all. My boyfriend loves it, he just doesn't know yet that I am getting him a back package. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. At first I was very hesitant in having laser hair removal on my body, I wasn't sure what to expect and if it really works. My sister sold me because she did her legs and bikini at Gentle Touch and when I saw her results I was so jealous. She was rubbing it in my face about not wasting time with waxing or shaving. I booked my appointment about months ago and just finished my third treatment and I am already benefiting from the treatments. The hairs literally don't grow back for weeks and when they do they are much thinner. I am so glad I pulled the trigger and started laser with Gentle Touch. Expectations met and more.... 3/2/2009

After having 5 treatments on my legs and 5 on my bikini I am virtually hair free. Unbelievable service, Michelle is just great. I feel very comfortable being treated at Gentle Touch, they have been around for several years and they have a 3 year guarantee with their packages. I am also able to be treated on the weekends even when its very busy. My expectations have been met and I recommend being treated here. Pros: Great results more

Hello! I am from India and I moved to Manhattan about 8 years ago. I heard a lot about Gentle Touch through out the years they have been in business from friends. Nearly all of my friends are going there for laser hair removal and they seem very happy with the results they are receiving. So about 8 months ago I decided to try their services. Laser works so well I think I am hooked. My back is almost completely hairless and my ingrowns on my neck are gone. It works so well I purchased a package for my wife and she loves it. Top notch laser center! I always had a very hard time with my hair until my friend recommended Gentle Touch. At first I was suspicious about laser treatments, even up until I got there. But when I spoke with one of owners, who is very professional, I knew I was at the right place. They specialize in laser hair removal and don't waste your time trying to sell you some other products like other places. You can tell everyone is fully dedicated to their job. I couldn't be more impressed with Gentle Touch Laser. The staff is professional, helpful, courteous, and very warm. They actually listen to your concerns and know what they're talking about as well! The facility is clean and looks more like a medical office. Unfortunately laser hair removal can be expensive, but they actually offer a flat-rate package that includes touch up and a guarantee, which I didn't hear of anywhere else.
