Editorial review from Citysearch 12/20/2012

I have also been overcharged by Dr. Kurfirst. The office's practice is to charge for 12 pairs of contacts and deliver only 6 pairs (with the request that you ask for the remainder of the order in six months!). I have unsuccessfully been seeking credit for the contacts I have purchased and not received. more

overcharged 3/8/2010

Dr. Kurfirst was very professional and competent, and I left feeling great about the exam. When I returned to pick up my contacts however, I was overcharged. One box (30 pack) cost $50.00. I can get a 90 pack online for $44.99. When I asked the staff about it, they insisted that this was the correct price. I left feeling scammed. more

Greatest Doctor in NY!!!!!!!!!! 3/28/2008

My experienced as a patient with Dr. Kurfirst was simply amazing the staff were very helpful and friendly, I would strongly recommend him. As soon as I stepped in they greeted me with a smile and acknowledged me.Afterwards one of the technicians escorted me to do my pre-work before seeing the doctor she cleaned the machines and assured i was comfortable and told me what each machine was doing. After the pre-work was done I was escorted into the exam room where again the equipment was sanitized. As soon as the doctor entered the room he greeted me and made small talk. He explained to me my vision coverage and how much I was going to pay out of pocket , he explained the difference between glasses and contacts. After the exam was completed I was ready to choose glasses it was going to be a difficult task being that this was my first pair of glasses but with the assistance of the staff they were able to find the perfect pair for me. Pros: Customer service, Selection of eyewear more
