Stopped in for dinner the other night and had a great time. The steak was delicious - perfectly cooked. I had the steak for 1 which was HUGE! The crab cakes looked good, I'm going to try them next time! more

The Steak For 2 is an enormous Porterhouse Steak drenched in a delicious Italian sauce. The creamed spinach is the best I have ever had. Other appetizers are good as well. Very nice wine list too. Service is always good. Highly recommended. Pros: Great service, usually not a long wait more

The absolute perfect spot for pre- or post-theatre dinner. Sit outside, drink a bottle of wine, and dine on incredible gourmet Italian dishes, and you forget that you are in New York. Feel transported back to Italy. The porterhouse steak and veal with freshly-shaved truffles are delicioso - and well-worth traveling from any part of the city to taste. Gracious and attentive service from Gustavo and his wonderful staff, as well as helpful suggestions when trying to choose from all of the wonderful dishes on the menu. Oh...and don't forget about the baked clams - some of the best in the city. Try to leave room for dessert - the NY cheese cake is a winner! I can't wait to go back... The food was very good but the service was extremely bad. The waiters were unpleasant and slow. At the end, we wanted to pay by card and the waiter filled receipt with the tip they wanted. First we did not want to sign but we were already late and they did not want to let us choose the tip. I've never seen such rude people! Pros: Good food Cons: Expensive and unpleasant service more

Some friends and I were drawn in by a friendly host who guaranteed we would not be disappointed by the food or service. Well, he couldn't have been more correct. We had the Swordfish and the famous house special steak with mixed greens. We also enjoyed one of the many fine bottles of wine offered. I would definately recommend this place to anyone and plan on returning in the near future. more

This was terrible! The food was ok enough to give a 2.5 stars, but not for the price. I got the steak (which was quite fatty) and they charged me an extra $20 for broccoli and potatoes with it!! There were flies flying around the table. A simple meal for two (no starters, no deserts) costs over $100. I'd really advise anyone to avoid this place.
