Worst

I have dark hair color and would like to change the hair color. After having hair coloring in this Hair Spa, my hair color remains unchanged. So, do not waist your time and $$$$ ...

Nestled between soho and little italy this salon is a great find. Fredy from Laicale and Arte is now working here and gives great cuts! They also appreciate their customers too. They just had a thank you wine party last month! Pros: in trendy soho, without the pretense! Cons: none more

Can you believe that there are still places that charge $30 for haircuts?!?! Bellisimo Hair Spa is a great hole in the wall salon. My husband and I walked in there without an appointment and my husband got a haircut for only $20! The lady that cut his hair spent almost an hour on his short hairstyle and it only cost us $20! She even took the time to gel my husband's hair and at the end even taught him how to style his hair in the mornings! more

came here for a perm 11/14/2005

I came here for a perm a long time ago and I remember that this place was very good. I was tired of my straight hair, so I had it permed and they gave me a really distinctive and outgoing look. The folks here are very friendly and will try to cater to your tastes as much as possible. Prices were very affordable. I'd recommend for at least an initial try. more

Great place for color and cuts! 9/30/2005

Bellisimo Hair Spa is a wonderful shop for any woman or man! The stylists are just incredible, they do very good work and are so friendly. I love going to see Ricardo, he's awesome with my hair and always knows how I like to wear my hair. He is the first one to come up with new suggestions on different styles. They do a great coloring too. The prices are average, and very worth it! more

A really great BDay gift and I went back! 6/26/2005

I went as part of my bday present and had a FABULOUS time...Rosi gave me a really great cut that grew out very nicely ...everyone at school wanted to know who did my hair. I was so pleased that I went back again. The prices are expensive but what do you expect when you get quality service and a NICE CUT (we all know those are hard to come by). more

Nice place 1/1/2004

The atmosphere is very calm. They use nice products (i.e. Modern Organic Products--MOP) and do a good job. My only complaint is that sometimes they charge a certain price for a service when you go one week and another the next week. Another mild complaint was some creativity (i.e. adding layers) when I didn't ask for it in my trim but I just had to be more specific I guess. Pros: Good products, Nice atmosphere, Good service Cons: Varied pricing, Communication more

Disaster!!! 11/4/2002

Big warning! Went there to do highlights, they turned out to nearly destroy my hair. After second try to fix the hair back I had to stop them. Worst of all, they refused to give me the $200 back that the highlights cost. Had to go to another hair salon to have my hair colored back to my normal color. What ever you do - don't go there!! Pros: Location Cons: Not professional, Non-English speeking, Disaster!! more
