A neighborhood favorite, with excellent food. Barbaresco is characterized by its warm and inviting staff, its delicious meals, and its cozy setting. The fish specials tend to be out of the world. Even if it's not in your neighborhood, it's worth a trip. Highly recommended by this upper east side native, with a love of all things food and wine. Pros: Value, Service, Food more

NITE OUT AT BARBARESCO! 3/6/2003

THE FOOD WAS PERFECT !!! THE ATMESPHERE IS WHAT GOT ME!! EVERYONE WAS SO HAPPY AND NICE.. THE WAITER WAS SINGING WHILE HE WAS MAKING OUR DESET RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! I HAD A GREAT TIME AND WILL DEFINATLY GO BACK!!! Pros: NICE CROWD, GREAT STAFF, AWSOME FOOD more

real italian waiters! 11/21/2002

We stumbled upon this place one rainy night. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, despite the fact that the place was relatively crowded and not huge. I had risotto which was delicious. And fish carpaccio, which was also good and fresh. Reasonably priced as well. Pros: romantic, good food, nice waiters more
