Forget running shoes, these sneakers are for kicking it in. From ?My Adidas? by Run DMC or Bob Marley?s (and his many sons) preference for the brand, no other sneaker brand has retained as much long-term hipness and street cred as Adidas. They?ve also now got fashion designers like Jeremy Scott and Kuzuki reinterpreting the brand and adding their own style to the mix, and have turned to fashion and sports icons like David Beckham and ?James Bond? movies for inspiration for other shoot-off lines. And who is more dapper than James Bond?

The NYC store has one of the coolest lay-outs ever, and is very spacious. They have outdoor seating, and it?s not uncommon to find adidas cultists and ?sneaker geeks? just chilling out there, quite a scene.
Head to the regular Adidas store if you want more performance oriented gear? the Adidas Originals store is definitely more fashion than sports.
