Owners response to mominlaw1 now changed to Rhea b:\r
While all bad reviews have our side untold we just let them go because most adults who work in this world are already aware there are crazy people out there.\r
This one will not go untold. We made NO mistakes here. The juniors dress was really a flowergirl dress that the company quit making in a size 16 so it was decided to get the 14 and let it out at no charge. No mystery there.\r
The bridesmaids dress on the other hand is a different story. When we take an order the customer initials the size and signs the contract. Often a girl will gain or lose weight and then try to blame us for ordering the wrong size. We cannot return dresses to the company, new ones must be paid for.\r
When mominlaw1 came in with her daughter hollering they really wanted a size bigger we reviewed our notes, which we always keep, and it said she requested the 16 (no upcharge that way). Mom now insisted they wanted an 18. We measured the dress which would have fit perfectly compared to the measurements we had on file. \r
The bridesmaid insisted she did not change size but got very upset when we needed to measure her again. Yes, the young lady did gain between 3 to 5 inches on each measurement. (bust-waist-hips)\r
An 18 still would have been too small as she is now a 22. Since mominlaw1 told us she sews we told her how to alter it and how to get extra fabric.\r
It is very unfair to blame us when the fault was clearly theirs. They had the ordering in writing, signed it twice and were given a copy.\r
We don't care what size anyone is and we will be happy to get you whatever size you want and is available. We can't order anyone another dress for free if you lose, gain weight or get pregnant. They are not free or exchangeable. If we are ever at fault we always do our best to correct the problem.
