When Hooter's first opened in Boise, the parking lot was full. Initially, people were excited about conservative Boise having a restaurant famed for its sex appeal. But now that the commotion's died down, you can eat at Hooter's nearly any night without a wait. People probably realized how ridiculous it was to be paying such high prices for such inedible food, regardless of the clothing of the waitstaff. The menu is extremely limited, with few varieties of burgers and sandwiches. The food itself lacks luster and flavor. My male friend I was with during my last visit liked the flirty waitstaff, but even he hasn't returned due to the poor food.
