Save-a-thon is a consant surprise to me. It has a _fantastic_ fabric department especially if you are looking for brocades and upholstry fabric either for home decorating or costuming. Of this, they have an incredible selection at cheaper prices than you'll find anywhere else in the city. Natural fibers and stuff you'd use for more normal design has less of a selection. But if you're doing historical costuming, corsetry work or designiging something for a prom or bridesmade dress, you have _got_ to check out their fabric selection.
