Fabulous F&B 5/20/2006

I love F&B Street Food. Bring a napsack, order some frittes and then smuggle them into the movie theatre across the street. They also have silly wine in cans and beneights. There's really no place to sit inside (just a very uncomfortable counter), so always stop in for either a quick bite, or with another destination in mind for your picnic. more

Euro Street Food 3/21/2006

Great place for a quick bite if you are in the Chelsea area. F & B sells a variety of yummy hotdogs and fries. It is a bit pricier than your usual Gray's Papaya or Papaya Dog hotdogs but also tastes better. If you are in the area and want to grab some fast food, this place is definitely worth checking out. more

Fabulous junk food 3/11/2006

I adore F&B Street Food. While their hot dogs aren't my favorite, I love their frittes -- including potato, string beans, chicken and beef options) and the accompanying dipping sauces (although if they love me, they would return lemon pepper to the menu). they also serve beer and wine and beingettes. Food is cheap and delicious. Seating however is limited to a counter. My advice? Get some frittes and beingettes and sneak them into the movie theatre across the street! more

Hey dere hot dog, hey dere 3/7/2006

European street food - just what New York needs. Are you turned off by street meat? Try it F&B style - granted, it is not on the street in a cart, but you get the picture. You can go all beef, tofu, salmon, or just plain old hot dog with any number of toppings from the gourmet to the mundane. Served with pommes frites (that's french fries for those not in the know) or sweet potato frites (a la carte). Wash it down with lemonade, ice tea or champagne. A great lunch, snack or quick dinner spot. more

Sick Of Plain Old Hot Dogs 1/16/2006

At F&B, a small amount of cash can get you a delicious hot dog, a hot frites and a refreshing cup of lemonade or iced tea -- just the kind of meal that's perfect for a lazy summer day. However, these hot dogs aren't your ordinary run of the mill. The variety at F&B extends beyond what you're used to. There's the Barcelona ( tomato, guacamole, cheese), the Great Dane ( all the way from Denmark and sporting remoulade, ketchup, roast onions, and a cucumber), the Florentine (a turkey dog w/ spinach & asiago sausage, onions, mushrooms) and many many more. Variety is the spice of life and at F&B variety is a part of every hot dog. more
