They injured our dog 5/11/2015

They cut off the end of our dog's tail. They acknowledged the injury, but advised us not to go to a vet! When we did take him to a vet, the manager at Walter's was obnoxious and argumentative about the whole thing. They refused to pay the vet bills (three separate visits) caused by their actions. They don't understand anything about customer service, or taking responsiblity. more

"WPS is our second home! There isn't anyone I feel more comfortable taking care of my baby girl than at Walter's! Everyone is so sweet and goes above and beyond to ensure Puddles is a happy doggy, making me a very happy mommy!!! Puddles is a very discriminating customer, and the fact that her tail wags when she sees her 'teachers', says everything (considering the only other time she wags her tail is when she is expecting food...)" more

BREED PREJUDICIE - ONLY LITTLE DOGS 3/24/2011

Please note that Walter's is breed prejudice. They will only take minature dogs. I have an American Staffordshire Terrier, who looks like Petey in the Little Rascals, and has been other daycare since he was 8 weeks and loves all dogs. But Walter's needs to mention that they do not accept large dogs for daycare. Their advertisement is extremely misleading. more

Very Happy 1/4/2011

I came in with my puppy, I was able to talk to Walter about what I would want and what he'd suggest, and I made an appointment. I was very happy with how my dog looked, felt, smelled, and he didnt seem in any way traumatized by the experience, which was his first time being clipped. more

I have always been very happy with Walter's Pet Services. I have frightened rescue dog who was treated in a special way to make her feel comfortable and well cared for. I can heartily recommend Walter's to anyone who wants their pet treated with kindness and care. more

I have never boarded a pet in my life and have consistently exploited friends and family in the past to taken care of my babies when i have to travel. Last year i was in a position where i had no choice but to entrust the care of the most important "person" in my life to the hand of others. The staff at Walter's took such good care of my little girl while i was gone and the fact that she was not in the cage. could sleep with a human and was never left alone made all the difference in the world! If I'm ever in a position where i don't have a option to provide care for my pup in her own home. I won't hesitate to board Beyla at Walter's! more

Love their customers 10/7/2010

Walter and his groomers know and love their customers, and are obviously skilled enough to work with any kitty personality. Walter said he would "ease" Oscar into the process of getting a lion-cut, so he wouldn't be scared of his first time. When I came to pick him up later that day, they had all become friends with Oscar, and even shared some very useful kitty-factoids about blindness, which not even my money-grubbing vet cared to tell. He was calm, beautiful, and the cut was absolutely purrrrfect. I also purchased a strawberry shaped kitty bed to keep him warm, which they knocked $10 off the price of at the register. My cat has come out of his little shell, and I see he feels so much more comfortable in his own skin. I plan on keeping the lion-cut on him forever, as it is both aesthetically awesome, and easier for him to groom. more

I found Walter's Pet Styles via Internet search and I can't be more pleased with their services. Five Stars! Outstanding! The phone was answered by a polite, friendly and helpful rep. I brought kitty in at 10:30am, spoke briefly to the groomer (a sweet gentleman named Leatre), showed him a couple of photos on my mobile phone of what kitty needed to look like and offered brief instructions (no lion cut!!! careful not to shave off her whiskers!!!). I was told that it'd normally take 4-5 hours because they do not like to stress the animals, especially cats. But as good timing would have it, kitty was done by 1pm. Yeay! Friendly. Fast. Efficient. No mistakes.My kitty emerged after her grooming session looking like a million bucks! She was shampooed, conditioned, smelled wonderfully, had her nails clipped, her ears cleaned, and after her haircut she looked just like the reference images I had shown Leatre. No lion cut, amen! PS: There's an in-house vet at the store, so there's no worry about your pet being hurt more

    We now offer overnight "cageless" boarding. This allows your dog to be with a Chaperone (who actually sleeps alongside the dogs!) as well as the companionship of other small dogs. Each dog is given a plush bed and blanket, freshly washed. We only accept 10 dogs a night.
