6 amateur sleuths from GA, FL and WI who enjoy Geo Caching and the like were delightfully amused on our travels thru Little Italy, China Town and the surrounding area. The Accomplice crew members we fun, funny and excellent at their jobs! Adult beverages, frogs in bags and interesting clues were all part of our GREAT AFTERNOON on 9/20/09. At the very end, I fell right off my chair and thankfully NO ONE had their camera ready!
Pros: Full of unexpected laughs

The show was so much fun. Sam is entertaining and funny at the same time. The tricks were mind boggling! I almost volunteered and wish I had. My son had a chance to get on stage and loved it. If you are a magic fan, especially a mentalism fan, then you will love this show. The seating was very good. I sat towards the back. But I could see everything. Sam also walks around during the show. My one criticism is that he should have shows more frequently. He only performs on Saturdays and Tuesdays. The show is well worth it.
Pros: great magic tricks, Sam is funny
Cons: the show needs to be every day!

I decided to go here on whim after walking through the park. I was alone, but I had such a great time. There's not a ton of animals like the Bronx Zoo, but it's an intimate atmosphere and small enough to easily walk around and not get too tired. I watched the polar bears for a good twenty minutes. It started to rain, but there's plenty of awning and indoor exhibits to take refuge in. Mostly all the animals were out and about doing stuff. They don't take credit or debit, but for $6 who cares?!
Pros: great price, cute animals, intimate park

Wow, this visit was fantastic. The line wasnt too bad, and the elevator ride was crazy! Once you're on the Top there's no turning back... I was scared at first to look, but glad I overcame my fears quickly. The view was spectacular and breathtaking. A definite stop to make when visiting New York. My pictures turned out awesome!

We love history but we also love to eat. We?ve done five tasting and dessert tours with NYC Discovery ? Little Italy History and Tasting Tour, Chinatown, Brooklyn Heights, Chelsea, and Greenwich Village ? and we will be coming back for the sixth! The food was great and the price was surprisingly inexpensive. What we enjoyed was how the food connects to the ethnic or historical presentation of the neighborhood. These guys are the best. Thanks NYC Discovery Walking Tours. We are on the mailing list for your schedule from now on!
Pros: Staff friendly, knowledgeable about NYC, great food, inexpensive

This service is an excellent way to find and visit new resturants in New York City and meet very nice, exciting and class people. I joined the group several months ago and have not experienced anything less than satisfaction in dinning experiences and company of people. Every time I go It's been an opportunity to meet someone new and experience a new fine dinning environment which comes in handy in other experiences. The fact that it is dinner for six and divided by age ranges somewhat insures compaitbility with fellow dinners and in some respects lend to possible friendships, associates and matches. Unlike most dating services this is on the spot, live , good food ,an intimate gathering of six with quality men and women which makes for good conversation in a relaxed environment. There have been dinners where our group has been the last to leave the resturant becuase of our enjoying each others company so much. The concept ,organization, planning and research is what makes TastyNewYork such a positive and rewarding experience for me and I will continue to participate and pass on the good news.
Pros: Ambience,variety

I grew up in NYC and don't usually do "tourist" activities, but the Circle Line Downtown is really awesome. I took some friends from out of town to the Thursday Happy Hour Cruise and we all had a great time. If you want a guided tour, then the Circle Line from 42nd street has the full island circle tour which is quite comprehensive. However, if you want to just have a great time on the water, snap some pictures and take in the view, the downtown Circle Line is way better. Plus going down to the South Street Seaport is alot cooler than going to Times Square if you ask me!
Pros: Fun, inexpensive, great lor locals and visitors, bring a camera

I used to work for a designer who used vases from Jamali as raw materials for her products. They have a HUGE selection of inexpensive glass ware and other stuff for DIY florists. Great for parties, weddings and gifts.

The irony is that native New Yorkers love the Circle Line at least as much as tourists. What better way to relax and get some perspective than to circle the island and see it all from afar? Plus, the uptown half of the trip passes shores you'd never believe were part of the big city -- little shanties that seem to belong thousands of miles away from the built-up nabes downtown. Best time is at sunset -- especially as you glide by the Statue of Liberty. Like the best Broadway -- it's hokey, but it works.

Lovingly restored this was an actual working Inn during the early part of the 19th century. Sit in the Garden and think about what it must have been like 200 years ago. The rooms are all done up with authentc period furniture.
