Social Circles

I've been a member of Social Circles for 5 months, and I hated my first two activities. I was furious, so I called to cancel, but they suggested I try a few more and gave me credits for the activities I didn't like. I was so skeptical, but after they suggested some specific events, I agreed to go. I am so glad I gave it a second chance. I've done so many fun activities since and met some great people. If you have an open mind and like trying new things, you'll love it. If you're negative and bitter, please don't join and ruin my good time. more

I thought it was ridiculously priced for what it was. Its over $1000 membership fee. They will not only charge in yearly fee but a monthly fee and a fee for attending each event even though it may even be free to go for the rest of the public. They dont have a trial time and forget about getting any of your money back if you are not satisfied. The people that worked there were rude. I dont know who wrote the previous reviews but i am a bit suspect if they were valid. more

I have been a member of social circles for about a year and it has really been a great way to doing and seeing things in NY that I normally wouldn't have known about. I am always happy to meet new people or whatever but the best part is the activities themselves. I did trapeze school and a cooking class this month, which were very well organized and so much fun! It is just a great way to use this city to it's potential. more

Being new to the area, I didn't believe what everyone said about how fast-paced NYC is and how hard it is to get out and meet new people, much less friendly ones, but it really is. Luckily I discovered this club not long after I moved here and it's great to have a ton of different things to attend each month and do them with people who have the same interests I do. The group dynamic is good because I don't have to talk or spend time with any one person. The staff is great and the activities are a lot of fun, and now I laugh when I talk to my friends back home who think New York is just rude people and high crime. I'm glad I found this company, they make things a lot easier. Pros: Great Events, Good People, Very Convenient Cons: Can't do all I want 2, Only in NYC more
