I had botox here one month ago and it has still not kicked in. I feel like I wasted my money. If you have money to waste, want bad botox and doctors who dont know what they are do...

Botox for those on the go who want a trusted professional behind the needle 3/7/2009

If you're like me, you have a very hectic lifestyle and don't always have the time to make your personal appointments due to the demands of everyday life. SmoothMed is a true NY find. Having the luxury of not having to make an appointment and just walk-in is priceless. When I used to go to my regular dermatologist, I was usually kept waiting an hour, so kudos to Dr. Birdy for coming up with this concept that caters to those that want a highly-qualified professional, who is an expert at his kraft in a very upscale and friendly office. What's so wonderful is that now that my initial consultation is over, my office visits in the future will be even shorter, so I can pop-in any time now with the comfort of knowing that I'll be in and out quickly. more

always good 2/25/2009

I travel a lot and get my Botox when I have a chance. I have been treated in London, France, Australia, and NY. I must say that this is the only place that has given me consistent results regardless of which doctor is available. The next most important thing to me is that I go there when it is convenient for me without any appointment. Pros: great results more

priceless advice 2/9/2009

I went in for some Botox and asked the doctor what else would help my appearance. He suggested making my lips a little larger which I thought was absurd at my age but I needed a pick me up. I tired it with the promise that it wouldn?t be noticeable. Boy was he right! I couldn?t believe that at my age such a small change could make such a large difference. Thank you for the great advice. They fixed other doctors mess 1/29/2009

I got Botox a week and a half ago from my doctor and I have since been walking around like someone from StarTrek. I stopped in at Smoothmed by chance and they were able to fix the problem. It took them only a minute to address what was wrong gave, me two small shots of Botox and to my amazement all was great by the end of the week. I was really impressed, immediately fixed my problem even though they didn?t do it. Next time I will go there for my shots. Pros: Very knowledgeable Cons: none so far more

Perfection 1/5/2009

I have been getting Botox for a little over a year from various doctors but this is the first time it came out perfect. My brows were even and Crowsfeet all gone. The doctor was a perfectionist, he kept asking me to make faces to focus exactly on what bothered me ? he was great. I highly recommend SmoothMed to all. Quickest and Most Efficient Botox Ever! 7/2/2008

I am so please to have gone in on my lunch break to get my once per 6 month botox treatment. I walked in the door and walked out with my botox treatment complete in literally 20 mins. The staff is quick and friendly. They know exactly what they are doing. I think the prices are fair too. Pros: Quick, clean, friendly/smart staff Cons: On the east side (west side dweller here). more

Efficient, professional, convenient, and well priced. 6/22/2008

I had contemplated getting Botox for a year or two, and finally walked into Smoothmed after a particularly rough month at work. Dr. Gridley was wonderful - she agreed that I should maintain a natural look, and injected a relatively small amount of Botox into my forehead, letting me know I could come back for more in a week or two. I love the results - no one, including my husband, knows I've had Botox, but I no longer unintentionally furrow my brow. I used to look concerned all the time, even during happy occasions, but no more! more

Best Place for Botox In NYC 5/17/2008

You walk into a friendly atmosphere, where even the the front desk knows what they are talking about. I was in and out with in 20 minutes and the doctor was fantastic!! My results are better than any dermatologist or plastic surgeon that I have ever gone to. These people really know there stuff! The price was actually cheaper than any other place I have ever been too and the staff made it a fun experience. I highly recommend it and and I will be back! I was recommended to pay a visit to Dr Gridley at Smoothmed. The entire staff was wonderful, they were very polite and competent. Dr Gridley had wonderful bedside manner - a wonderful touch and very easy to talk to. She made me very comfortable and told me about everything she was about to do - where she was injecting, why, etc. I would highly recommend Smoothmed to anyone else. It was refreshing to walk in without an appointment and only wait ten minutes. Pros: Ambience, Service, Value (Cheapest in NYC) more

Great Botox Clinic 3/13/2008

I thought this was strange when I first heard about this, but when I decided to go check it out for myself, I was impressed. This is a very professional clinic and I did end up getting a service that is relatively easy. It was cheaper and faster than the normal hoops I'd been jumping through. My friend suggested that I go to Smoothmed and all I can say is that it was such a great experience. The staff was so friendly and the doctors were terrific! They are even open 6 days a week so it works perfect with my hectic work schedule. If you are looking for excellent service and a job well done, this place is just what you are looking for. This is a brilliant idea and it is executed perfectly. You enter a beautiful elegant salon and are greeted by beautiful woman who are smiling and friendly. I walked in for some Botox I have gone to Plastics and Dermos for Botox all over the place and the Dr. I went to was simply the best. He took a photo, reviewed it with me and then asked what I was hoping to achieve. His injections were fast and painless. The salon offers a lot of other injectables and fillers and you get the best results from Drs. that have experience in injecting. Since that is the business of Smoothmed you couldn't be in better hands. I inquired about several other injectables and the Dr was honest and gave me great recommendations. He definitely knew his stuff. No hard sell (which is nice) but, I am going back for some other fillers before the holidays. Pros: Excellent fast and easywith perfect results more
