Matt is a great consultant. He was so professional and knowledgeable about all of the different choices of laser eye surgery to pick. We never felt pressured or manipulated, unlike other surgeons we looked at. Dr Jackson was very professional, and made us feel very safe to have the surgery. We knew there could be risks, but felt that Dr Jackson would do his best to reduce any chances of error. The PRK surgery was a success and we have recommended him without hesitation to our friends. i only needed glasses for driving especially at night, and activities like the movies. I was told I had an astigmatism by my regular eye doctor but i didn't really understand what that meant. I only knew I hated driving at night because there was a lot of glare and I couldn't see the signs and felt blinded by passing cars. So I typed astigmatism correction in to my favorite search engine. And NuVision appeared. I read their website and it was very informative and they had the information i was looking for. I scheduled my free appointment online. From the moment I walked in I knew I was in the right place. The staff was friendly and professional and made me feel at home they explained my astigmatism and how it would be corrected to me in a way i could understand. Dr Jackson reviewed with me the different types of correction and together we decided all laser lasik was the best for me. The night after my procedure they called me to check on how i was feeling . 1 year later i still see 20/15 in both eyes. I can drive at night without feeling blinded by the glare from the lights and I can read the street signs. I highly recommend NuVision they make it an easy choice. What a great experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the process and Dr. Jackson is a true professional. The staff is knowledgable and answered all of my questions each time I called. Once I decided on the surgery, everything was explained in detail and the surgery itself was mostly painless but well worth the results - I already see as well as I did in glasses less than 24 hours post-surgery. I found most of the staff at times a bit pushy. While my eyes were corrected, I found the overall experience to be unpleasant. I did not feel that my concerns were addressed and when I called with questions after my surgery the staff became very short with me. I had very long wait times just about every time I visited his office. I expected a bit more especially considering the price I paid. The more I read about Lasik on-line, the more concerned I've become about either having the procedure or recommending it to family members. How do I know that Dr. Jackson is any better? What a wonderful experience. From the initial consultation through the completion of surgery and post-op appointments, Dr. Jackson and the entire staff were very professional, knowledgeable and most of all made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I didn?t even feel the need to ask any questions because every detail and question was answered, leaving me without nothing else to ask, and for me, that is very rare.
