Best choice! 3/28/2011

This was the best choice I ever made in hotels. We were upgraded to a bigger room for free. Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were spacious. We had no problem with the TV for as little as we used it. Very conveniently located next to Penn Station, several subway lines, Macy's, the Empire State Building, the Theater District. For $4 we could leave our bags after we checked out so we wouldn't have to drag them all over the city with us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Pros: Great service, Large rooms, Friendly staff more

Location is ideal 3/11/2011

I stayed there with my mam and sister and we all found the hotel nice and we got what we need somewhere to go to sleep in a clean room after a days shopping. The location is ideal too. more

I like everything! 3/11/2011

I like everything, of the location, room, price, facilities, hotel staff, confort, cleanlines of room. Everything was perfect more

Great Location 3/9/2011

If you get a room on one of the lower floors, go up to the top floor and look out. It's a great location and a great price. more

Magnificent 3/1/2011

The location of the hotel is magnificent opposite Madison Square Gardens and the Empire State Building directly behind, Times Square a five minute walk away. If you have never been to New York Before it is an ideal base for finding your way around the city & the hotel can arrange excursions. New York is a truly amazing city for the sights and Shopping well worth a visit. more

I will be a repeat customer 3/1/2011

The location was excellent and the staff was fantastic. Cythnia was especially helpful when I was not feeling well. The door of the room was shaped like a submarine capsule or asylum door. It was very amusing. One of the compters was not working in the lounge but the free printng and faxing was great as part of the 500 club. Also, the force of the water from the shower was like a pulsating massage. I enjoyed my stay and will be a repeat customer. more

Location location location 3/1/2011

Our room was on the 14th floor, it was clean although not large. The reception area was so busy morning and night. We had no complaints whatsoever, perfectly adequate to sleep in and comfortable. We even met people who had stayed there again and again. Ideal location with plenty of restaurants and it felt safe. more

Perfect Location 2/24/2011

The Hotel Pennsylvania is in a perfect location for a Manhattan sightseeing vacation. The price is affordable (relative to New York prices). It's directly across the street from Penn Station/Madison Square Garden, a few blocks from Times Square, 2 blocks from the Empire State Building. Subway stations are on two of the closest corners, as are taxi stands and city bus stops. There are plenty of local restaurants very close by. more

Rooms are large and clean! 2/23/2011

I can highly recommend the Hotel Pennsylvania to anyone wanting a clean, moderately priced hotel in an excellent location in midtown Manhattan. It is just across the street from Madison Square Garden (Penn Station), a major subway hub, and is within easy walking distance of many major attractions. Rooms are large and clean. more

I can't wait to stay at Hotel Penn again! 2/22/2011

To be completely honest, I can't WAIT to go back to NYC and stay at the Hotel Penn again. It serves as a great place to get some sleep at night, in a city that never sleeps. I am so pleased with my experience there. more

Heart of Manhattan 2/14/2011

The hotel is located in the heart of the Manhattan, between Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. It is on walking distance (about 10 min) from Times Square and about 15 min from Greenwich Village. Room and bathroom were large for NY standards and very clean. Furniture is fine but do not expect anything fancy. A number of restorants is around the hotel. Because of Pann Station and close subway station, the commuting is very easy. Caffee bar inside hotel works 24 hours. The services are very good. Waiting time at reception desk was minimal. I could recommend this hotel to NY visitors. Price/performance ratio is great. more
