Wow, so delicious, if you love pizza as much as I do, you'll not be disappointed with this spot!

Worst

This may be the most boring pizza in New York. It seems like they use good ingredients and and cook the pie well.. but every combination I try is bland and boring. I live just dow...

Great NY Pizza 9/4/2008

Love the pizza and the atmosphere. Makes the long wait to get in all worth it. They try to cram people in the small space, so great way to talk to other people there. I like how they use fresh cheese and thin crust. So thin and yet so soft. more

Great Pizza just go Early 7/1/2006

There is always a wait here so don't go there hungry or when it is raining! People have heard about how great the thin crisp pizza is and everyone wants to try it. Service is good once you get in. They don't sell slices - just pies ;) more

Grimaldi's 5/17/2006

Yes, this pizza is worth waiting in line for...but how long of a line are you willing to put up with to satisfy your pizza cravings? The scene is homey. Red checked table clothes and no fuss. Also no credit cards and no strollers! It's worth the hassle once your thin crust piping hot pizza arrives. I felt like I was back in Sicily. Skip the meat pizzas (they are a bit greasy for my taste). Mushroom and olives is a great combo. more

Pizza 1/12/2006

This is the place to go when you want the best brick oven pizza around. The thin crust and savory sauce makes you long for more. You may have to wait on line for a table and to get your order but the pizza is always fresh and never soggy. The service is also very good. Take your out of town friends, they will enjoy it. more

One of Brooklyn's best 1/6/2006

There are endless debates about NY's best pizza (I personally give my vote to DiFara), but Grimaldi's is definitely in my top five. It's a very tasty pie, expertly made. They use top quality ingredients so this is a place where I like to order my pie topped with a few different things. My only complaint is that sometimes the center of the pie is a bit soggy - they aren't 100% consistent on this. Nevertheless, it's always a great tasting pie and I'll always go back. There's often a wait to get in, so go off hours if you don't like to stand in lines. more

The best pizza 9/1/2005

There's really is the best. It was the first pizzeria I went to in NYC. I loved it, but didn't want to give them the title of "best" just yet. So I shopped around. John's, Lombardi's, Patsy's, etc. were good, but just not as good as Grimaldi's. There's a reason there's a line out the door. more

Best Pizza in Brooklyn 8/20/2005

The pizza from Grimaldi's is worth going to Brooklyn. The coal oven is what makes the thin crust taste so great. The pizzas cook up quickly, so once you are seated, you are served pretty quickly. Sometimes there is a wait to be seated, however because many people know how great the pizza is here. The toppings are fresh and they put just enough on. more

Brick oven pizza! 8/16/2005

Brooklyn's famous brick oven pizzeria lives up to its fame. Their pizzas are thin and crispy, and toppings are great as well. They also serve these cute local sodas, which I do recommend trying. Their dessert menu is not bad either, with items such as the canoli. Remember its cash only! more

Number 1 pizza in NYC 8/16/2005

Patsy Grimaldi's brick oven pizzeria by the Brooklyn Bridge is well worth the trip, The pizzas are thin and crispy, the sauce is delicious, especially with the big leaves of basil they put on it. The atmosphere is lively and family & kid friendly. Once you go there, you'll keep coming back. more

Mouth watering brick oven style pizza with SUPER fresh ingredients - YUMMY 7/29/2005

Oh god, Grimaldi's (Patsy's) is absolutely phenominal. Their pies come piping hot from the oven with fresh mozzarella, a delicious pizza sauce, and the finest ingredients. They also carry really good old fashioned bottled soda's - it's a wonderful treat and a special place to take an out of towner to show them a slice of the city! more

Brooklyn Bridge staple 6/28/2005

Good, thin pizza has been served at Grimaldi's for years. There's no way ot make reservations, so be prepared to wait for a table there. They only do pizza by the pie, not the slice. However, being on gorgeous Brooklyn Bridge park helps out both their business and the poor patrons stuck waiting an hour for a table. A place to hit up at least once in New York more
