I have been taking my cats to Dr. John Campanile for many, many years. I feel that he's a very caring doctor, and very friendly and nice. He really cares about the animals and it shows. He does everything he can to save them if he thinks they have a chance. He's not the type to tell you to put them to sleep right away unless he thinks there is no hope, but he will tell you the truth if he thinks they won't get better and should be put to sleep. We just had to go through that with our cat. . His fees are reasonable. My father in law used to take his cat to another clinic near his home in Bensonhurst, but he switched to this vet because his cat needed a lot of ongoing care and the other vet was too expensive. The only thing I don't like is the receptionist because she can be rude at times.

I go to these guys for fish food. They have the lowest prices in the area and very friendly sales staff. I go in there just for a minute and I end up staying a half hour because of their chatty sales staff. They also carry exotic birds and a vast array of other supplies for your pet.

This is a great place to bring your dog for some much needed grooming. They do mostly small dogs and only charge about $35 per dog. They do a decent job with my dog and she is one fussy lady. They do tend to be busy so I wouldn't be offended if they seem alittle aloof. They get the work done so that is what matters. My friend recommended this place and I occassionally take my dog there if her regular groomer is unavailable and I am in a tight spot. This doesn't mean that they aren't good, my dog just prefers her regular groomer.

Since 1994 Michele has provided excellent care for our cats, Pin, and now June and Faust. She is honest, knowledgeable, and caring, and went the extra mile to help us locate a live-in cat sitter when we were going on an extended vacation. I cannot recommend her highly enough - but perhaps the best endorsement is from Faust. Aside from us, Michele is the only other person he has allowed to pet him!

I used to take my father in law to the doctors at the Animal Clinic of Bensonhurst for many years because his cat had a lot of medical problems. She had a condition called megacolon and required enemas every few months, as well as a special diet. My father in law spent a lot of money on the special food and enemas, and after a while, he realized that she was needing the enemas all the time and the doctors at this clinic weren't helping her. They had to anesthetize her every time they gave her one and it made the bill even more expensive. Finally he found another vet, who is my vet, who was able to giver the enemas by only tranquilizing her and not knocking her out, and he saved a lot of money and she lived for many years after he switched.

I have taken my cats to CBVC for at least 15 years. I trust no other vet, most of my friends and neighbors come to this office as well. I feel like part of the family when I call for an appointment.

I run a pet sitting / dog boarding service in San Jose, California. I happened to see Robbie Dawg biscuits for sale at our local dog boutique and thought they'd be the perfect gift to give to my clients as a 'thank you' for using my services. I buy 50 packets of the mini-biscuits at a time using the online store. The biscuits come wrapped six pieces in a cello bag with a pretty ribbon and label. The ingredients used are obviously top quality and the biscuits stay fresh for months at a time. At only $1 per pack the price can't be beat! My customers love the treats and always ask where they can buy more on their own.
Thanks Robbie Dawg!

Viva La Pooch is awesome. They do such a great job on grooming my dog. He has long hair and he gets knots. It's hard to groom him myself as he doesn't like it. Not only do they do a great job on my dog but also his parents too. I moved away and this is the only place by far, I will take him. AnneMarie is not only knowledgeable on what she does but she's great with the animails. I highly recommend anyone to this place.

This place is located on one of the more industrial streets just adjacent to Park Slope. They offer boarding for dogs as well as daycare for sociable dogs who want to hang out with other hounds while their owners are at work. Brooklyn Dog House offers more than the usual kennel: 2 supervised playgrounds, additional boarding services including bathing your dog and playing with him, and curbside pick up. My gripe: It really smells inside. I've never encountered such a strong smell when entering a kennel and I don't know how the people work in there can stand it. It may be a problem more of ventilation than of hygeine, but it is off putting. In any case, they do a professional job, and my dog is happy when I pick him up, on the few times I've used them. Their website is www.brooklyndoghouse.com
