I would definitely not recommend Utica Avenue Auto Body. I was told by a friend to bring my car here after an accident, and it was a big mistake. My car has never run right since they got their hands on it. I don't know what they did to it. I think they did more damage to it to get more money from the insurance company or something . It never ran the same and the radiator, which wasn't even touched in the accident, started giving me a lot of problems after they "fixed" it. I had to bring it back to them several times and the problem was never really resolved. I finally had to get rid of the car and get a new one.

I had some issues with my Volvo so I gave this place a try. I had some issues with my power steering. I gave it in for a day and the car was fixed. I had another bent in the car that was rubbing against my tire. I didn't have the tools to do it so I left it to them to fix it. I went out for another hour and they bent it back really well. I would imagine they would just give it a nice big hit in the other direction, but it looked like new. If you got car issues go to this place.

This is an honest reliable auto repair place that also has car inspection service that has been in Brooklyn for years and is well known by locals. Great mechanic. They won't rip you off because you are not mechanically oriented, a female or just don't know much about cars. Very reasonable prices.

I had a problem with the glass on my old car. The windshield had a crack that continued to widen, and I knew that if I didn't get it fixed, that it would blow at any time. I didn't have a lot of money to spend on glass, so a friend told me to check out Rivas. I'm glad I did because they did a good job. Within a short time I drove out of there with a new windshield for very little money compared to some other places I inquired at. It's not the greatest looking place, and it was really inconvenient to find the place from where I live, but it was worth it.

This is a decent place for car repairs. The service took a while, but there is a McDonald's and Burger King close by so you won't go hungry. I think they overcharged me, but then again I don't know much about cars. The workers, however, seemed pretty knowledgeable and were nice, which is very important. My car is in great shape and there hasn't been a problem since. Still, there are many other auto places around there if this one isn't right for you.

I highly recommend using this car service. They are very quick on last minute's notice. My friend needed to get to JFK airport and this was one of the few places that could get a car available immediately. Their customer service was extremely helpful. They give you an estimated time of how long the car will get to your place and it's extremely accurate--my wait was only 7 minutes. I found the service to be prompt and excellent. I will definitely use it again.

Shortly after my friends Corolla died and got fixed, his car broke down again. This time he had to change his muffler. We went to a different shop this time. It was a small shop but it had good services. The mechanic was very smart about replacing the muffler. It costed us little money. It was not very quick because the guy had to order the part but we got it fixed. I loved the service and expertise.
