My husband has been going here for a long time to have the taxes done for his business. We also occasionally had them do our personal income taxes. We have never had a problem with them. Our taxes have always been prepared accuratately and we usually get a refund. They find deductions that you wouldn't even think of if you were doing your own taxes by yourself. You get what you pay for, although their rates seem to be about what others charge. We are very satisfied with them.

This 2nd generation family-owned business has been on 86th Street for over 60 years. There's a reason for that longevity. Quality jewelery, fair prices, excellent service (the owners great to deal with!). I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy anything as simple as a new watch, or something as important as an engagement ring.

I recently was in New York and needed to make a banking transaction.
The folks here did not know me, but were courteous and helpful and enabled me to get cash when I needed it the most. While they were under no obligation to help, they were very professional and helped me with the paperwork to get things taken care of.
Lovely bank, nice and friendly people with an eye to assist even those folks who are not their regular customers.

The first thing you will learn if you move to the Northside of Williamsburg is that you will waste $50/month on ATM fees. There are no chain banks on the Northside, and most restaurants only accept cash. The best option is to open a checking or savings account at Cross County Bank. They offer Excellent Savings account interest rates, with free internet bill paying. The inside of the bank is very nicely done, and the staff is friendly and eager to help. Also, the bank itself is about 3 stores down from the Bedford L stop, and directly in front of the B61 bus stop.
