They have rides for both adults and children and games where you can win all sorts of things. They even offer video games and all types of electronic coin games. There is plenty of parking, both paid and street and the prices are very affordable. You can even catch a cyclone game if your in the area.

Astroland is a place i will remember for life, my dad took me there every weekend he picked me up from moms house. since my father passed away, he took the place with him... think about peoples feeling before writing something thats not true, keep ur comments to ur self. a$$h0le!

I love the botanical garden, because it takes u away from the concrete jungle of BROOKLYN..its soothing, romantic array of organic flowers are absolutely breathtaking. I love goin to the garden on the weekends with my fiance' and our children...because they get to pick the type of flowers they want to take home and plant in our own garden. I would recommend anyone go just for a romantic outing or just to get some solitude. Its also PERFECT for weddings

They have a little bar, so if you just want to take a breather from your kids, you can always sneak away for a drink. On weekends at night they have cosmic bowling, during which time they have black lights and a DJ playing music, and they give away prizes.

Maple Lanes has some great bowling. They have bumpers if you want them and special deals on games. The equipment is pretty recent and they always have a ball at the weight you want. But the real reason to visit Maple Lanes is the French fries. I have NEVER found French fries as good as theirs. They are the standard by which I measure all others.

I was having a party for my 3 year old and wasn?t sure what type of entertainer to hire. NY Sketches gave us some great suggestions based on the size of the party and my child?s age. We ended up hiring a caricature artist. We tied it in with an activity (the kids decorated blank picture frames). Then we gave the guests the caricatures in the decorated frames in lieu of a goody bag with a bunch of junk. The kids loved it!
We really liked the caricature artist that they sent. She was very talented, professional and good with kids (and crowd control). We spoke to her before the party and she made sure that she cut the paper for the caricatures to fit the frames we bought. I?m already planning to hire someone from NY Sketches to do henna or temporary tattoos at my 5 year old?s next birthday party.

If you want to have fun and you don't want to go to Six Flags then this is the place for your family. It is three floors and they hold birthday parties to. The place works on tokens. There are two types of tokens. Action and Game tokens. Action cost a dollar and game tokens cost a quarter. There is laser tag and a cool spinning ride called the tornado. The kids had loads of fun. Fun Time USA is like an Amusement Park in a warehouse. The price is reasonable. Whats weird is that you have to go through metal detectors. Also they have a ticket system. The more you have the bigger the prize. I think the grand prize was a Game boy or a television. Its a place for fun.

What can you say about baseball being back in Brooklyn - it is about time and you have affordable New York Met baseball for once. The park is magnificent and is just so nice in Coney Island where you can enjoy so much afterwards. The baseball is decent as this is rookie league but it still is just such a great way to enjoy a day.

I remember as a kid Nellie Bly was where our folks took us for birthday parties and a fun day during the summer.
They are expensive, but everything is in the City these days. But its the little kid rides and attractions that draws families here for a fun afternoon.
There is also an arcade, but the big slide attracts all the kids, and the parents can go down with them.
A little bit of nostalgia in Brooklyn, Nellie Bly is a taste of Coney Island for the small child.
