I stumbled upon Magnolia after a recommendation from a friend last year. Run by a few Polish women, they cram manicure/pedicure services, waxing, facials, and massages into a tiny area. All are great, and all are extremely cheap for what they offer. I had a European facial for $50, and have returned several times. The spa workers are professional and personable, and know how to put a woman at ease when she's there to get often-painful beauty procedures done. Often times appointments can be made for the same day, and if you combine features (facial/manicure) there is a nice discount. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon or a great gift for an over-stressed friend.

My massage at Greenhouse Holistic, given by the owner, David Greenhouse, a graduate of the Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy, was everything that a theraputic massage should be (and I'm sure his other therapists are just as good!).
As a first time client the intake was thorough and professional and put me at ease. The massage was great, not only relaxing, but actually theraputic in that he identified my problem areas and gave them special attention. The incorporation of hot stones was a nice touch, and I walked out feeling like I'd done something good for myself both mentally AND physically. I was also impressed at the check-in after the massage was over.
I don't remember the prices off hand, but they were well within range for a massage, as are prices for other kinds of massage including Reiki and Shiatsu treatments.
Check out what else Greenhouse has to offer, including a full schedule of classes including various types of Yoga, Tai Chi and even Belly Dancing. They also recently installed a sauna which you can try per session or buy a multi-session card for to save a couple bucks (there's also a discount if you do a sauna session in conjunction with a class).

I treat myself to a manicure and pedicure once a month, and I always go to Cindy's Nail Plaza. I like that they are open on Sundays, which is the only time I can get a chance to go. they perform a wide range of services such as manicures, pedicures and massages too. They do a really good job, and I get a lot of compliments on my nails. They have never looked better. They really pamper you and help you feel relaxed. The place is clean, and all instruments are sterilized, and there usually isn't a long wait to get them done. I'm very satisfied with them

I used Chris DeMoor's speech therapy for my son for about a year before he was able to get speech therapy in school and he made no progress. A friend of mine took her 5 year old son for therapy there also. He had trouble pronouncing certain letters and you could hardly understand him sometimes. Chris DeMoor told her that it was going to take years to get him to pronounce those sounds. My friend was upset because her insurance didn't cover speech and she was paying out of pocket. She expressed concern to Ms. DeMoor, who said that hey, she's got to live too! My friend found another speech and language pathologist and her son was pronouncing the sounds, that Ms. DeMoor said would take years, in 3 sessions.

I received a gift certificate for this spa for Mother's Day and it was a wonderful gift even though I'm not usually the kind of person who goes to spas. I finally got around to using it and I was treated like a queen for a day! The place is really nice looking and I was practically waited on hand and foot. I received all kinds of skin care treatments, massages, you name it. I'm not sure what the charges were since I used the gift certificate, but they are probably really, really expensive. It looked expensive. It was well worth it though. If you want to treat yourself really lavishly or give a great gift, you should try this spa. You will come out feeling relaxed and like a new person.

I have been going to this Barbershop for about a year now and I haven’t been disappointed with my cut yet. Most of the haircuts at this place are around 12 dollars (plus tip off course) which is a pretty good value. The barbers there know all the latest styles and are very skilled at what they do. Hip-hop music is played there all the time so one can get a cut and listen to some sick tunes at the same time. Everyone there usually has some funny stories or something is always happening there when you get a cut which I think is a plus. The cuts don’t take too long, depending on which barber you go to. If you need a nice cut then call and make an appointment for whatever time you need. Great barbershop.

I was recommend to try this salon by several ladies at work, and they were right. My hair was getting very long and had no style, and I didn't know what to do with it. I walked out of there with a great new style that looks great on me, and I get lots of compliments. They asked me what I wanted and actually listened and did what I wanted, unlike some other salons I've been to, and then gave me ideas. The prices were not outrageous, I didn't have to wait forever, and I'm very pleased with the service. I saw people there getting their hair colored and highlighted and it looked nice, so I might try that next time.

I used to go to this place before i switched to a different one( which i listed in my other review). The reason I left was that they raised the price to be too high which is fourteen dollars and up! The interior is nice though with two TVs to watch while you wait for your barber. The barbers there are experienced, I can argue that. if you don't mind the price then give this place a try.
