Grand Prix Driving School

Fantastic! nothing compares an experience that really make you feel safe! - I started with Grandprix last year then i stop...but yes they were Great. I was just busy and I could not find time to take lesson.. So, I never really got the chance to practice but now because of work they require me to get a license ASAP! I said Grand Prix is the answer! I know when the first time I took my driving lesson with them I was satisfied! So, NO doubt that I would never get my license!I Although, I got unlucky got stock in the UN traffic jam but well never stop me from learning. I went out for 10 lessons this week and i passed my roadtest today. I have to say, that its been a real privilege to go out with such an amazing, understanding, professional driving school and instructor.. i would never have passed my roadtest if my instructor did not teach me the RIGHT RULES IN DRIVING and things you needed to expect from a roadtest...I will surely recommend Grand Prix and ofcourse my instructor Greg to everyone! Pros: good professional instructor! Cons: traffic in the city! more

My experience was wonderful they were very professional and nice when I called. For my first lesson I was very nervous but my instructor was very polite and relaxed which made me more comfortable behind the wheel. The best thing about my instructor was that he answerd all my questions and if I did something wrong he'd tell to relax I was doing great. After only 3 lessons I was confident and ready to go and get my license and I did. Grand Prix Driving School is a great place to go if your trying to learn to drive they get five stars from me. more

The folks in the office were very helpful, friendly and accessible and it was easy to schedule lessons, which is great because it put me at ease to just focus on my driving. My instructor Joseph was the best I've had, he was clear and made it easy for me to learn and prepare for the test, all while making me a more careful and safe driver. There are a few areas in which I am not satisfied with this driving school, but just to name a few: (1) You can't change your lesson time in less than 48 hours before the lesson, but the driving school or the instructor can. (2) The instructor, Joseph, was 30 min. late for a lesson, did not apologize, and did not make up for my lost time. The instructor and their representative on the phone repeatedly blame the unforgivable mistake on each other. Neither of them offered to make up the time I spent waiting at the corner of the street after leaving work early just for the driving lesson. This shows total lack of professionalism. (2) The instructor kept talking to me about irrelevant things during the lessons, minimizing my focus and the efficiency of the lessons. (3) The instructor's conversations were filled with vulgarisms, and he forced me to drive in the Bronx when I made it clear that I wanted to drive in Manhattan. (4) I have had 3.5 hours of lessons so far, but I signed up for 10 hours. They refused to switch instructor for me or to issue a refund, so I am coerced to stick with this mess for another 6.5 hours of lesson. (5) The instruction and service are completely not worth what they are charging. more

I definately enjoyed driving now especially since, like many other people who have posted reviews on here, Grandprix helped me to pass first time round! 10 out of 10 rating from me! Pros: Excellent Service Cons: they have a lot of students which makes scheduling a bit hard more

Grand Prix Driving School is the best driving school I've ever took lessons with. I came from other driving schools but I am definitely here to stay. My instructor is very patient and calm in his teaching. His parallel parking technique is fool proof. It works every time! The School uses compact cars and its great to drive. more

Its a very nice and fun learning experience driving in your school. I will definitely recommed you to all of my friends and relatives who wish to learn how to drive. I have to admit that I was very nervous the first time I rode the car with my instructor, but he really handled me well. And everything turn out just fine. I had such a great experience with this school! Highly recommend, they are so accomodating and really teach you how to become a good driver. I am going to take some more lessons for highway driving. Pros: Great Instructor, Flexible Schedule, door-to-door pickup more
