i began taking my driving lessons 2 months ago under Luke. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I did only 15 hrs of driving before I went for the test and I passed at my first attempt ( considering I have never driven before). Go to Grand Prix and ask for Luke! more

Professor Ed is Awesome 5/13/2010

This was my first time ever taking any driving lessons. Grand Prix is great. First I took my 5 - hr pre licensing class and they even managed to make that exciting. The following hours I took my driving lesson. My Instructor was Ed Panis. Instructor Ed was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The best thing about this Instructor was that no matter how many mistakes I made he remained calm and helpful. I learned to parallel park, 3-point turn drive through tunnels and on bridges and most importantly how to stay safe and conscious on the road. Grand Prix set up a my road test an provided a car for the test for a fee. I took my test one month after my first class and all though I was encouraged to practice for more hours (I did only 15 hours) I passed on my first attempt. I am now happily awaiting the arrival of my Driver's License and I have signed up for advanced driving courses. Next step highway driving. Pros: Personable and polite staff Cons: Couldn't find any more

I really hate driving but have to for work. I was so sure that I would not pass my first driving test but I did. Thanks to all the practical things and instructions of my instructor, Kuya Ed. He is really a great instructor! He is not bookish and has a technique that makes things fool proof and easy to remember! Pros: good instructor, good 5 hour course Cons: none more

I failed my first road test with another instructor. Then i had Luck who made me feel confident and relax. He also taught me exactly the skills that proved most important to pass the test; Luke also happens to be a super nice guy; i recommend him!!! more

This my 4th driving school and after 3 failed road tests with the other schools I passed today - my first attempt with Grand Prix. Pros: Centrally located, timely, thorough instructions Cons: Can't think of any at the moment. more

This my 4th driving school and after 3 failed road tests with the other schools I passed today - my first attempt with Grand Prix. I guess practise matters a lot and its just a matter of time, but I do think the instructor, Ed made a big difference. I found him to be very sincere, constantly giving feedback, check this, observe that, not this way, look here.. on and on and on.. he has firm manner - which I appreciated a lot. I already new the basics.. I was just failing because of jittery nerves and Ed was the ideal remedy for that. If you can drive under his instructions and to his satisfaction - you can pass the test! I found the rest of the staff to be very polite and engaged as well - working with me to set up, reschedule and plan the lessons and tests. Thank you Grandprix, especially Ed!! Flexible DMV 5 hour pre-licensing course 1/19/2010

I enjoyed my DMV 5 hour pre-licensing course with Grand Prix Driving School. Schedule was very flexible. After my 5 hour classroom instruction, the school scheduled my roadtest appointment immediately. I took their simulated road test practise and I passed my test with ease. Parallel parking was made easy. Highly recommend this driving school to my family. more

Luke is a Great Driving Instructor! 11/19/2009

ok - so I failed my first road test before and then booked my second appointment through Grand Prix. Had a 60 minute lesson with Luke before the test and he taught me exactly the skills that proved most important to pass the test; he takes no prisoners which is exactly what is needed here. Luke also happens to be a super nice guy - highly recommended! Pros: Luke Cons: none - except for a 2 hr. wait which was the DMV's fault... more
