Do you Want Fabulous Eyebrows? 3/8/2010

I had been in search of fabulous eyebrows for years just like the ones that I had seen in magazines on the most beautiful celebrities. Six years ago, I read that I too could have beautiful ""celebrity""eyebrows by going to Eliza's Eyes, at the Avon salon located in Trump Towers. Pros: Vavara is a must for fabulous Eyebrows! more

Best in NYC 2/25/2010

Many years ago, in my hunt to find the very best talent in NYC for eyebrow shaping, I landed at Eliza's Eyes at the Avon Salon. After being a client to many of the different staff trained by Eliza, I was having trouble finding consistency. Until I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Varvara. Countless years later, I have been a loyal follower and passionate fan of Varvara's due to her sheer mastery in the art of eyebrow shaping. She has never wavered in her consistency and there has never been a time where I wasn't 100% satisfied with my results. She is a brilliant artist at her craft, overly accommodating, and has a delightful and warm disposition. So long as she continues to do what she does in the impeccable way that she does it, I will continue to be a faithful client of hers. She is, unequivocally THE BEST. Why is this amazing woman not famous? 2/24/2010

When I first moved to the city five years ago the perfectionist in me went on a hunt for the best in everything, hair, eyebrows, clothes, you name it. Through my extensive research I found Eliza's Eyes in the Avon salon at the Trump Tower. I had heard Eliza was eyebrow stylist to the stars and that she personally apprenticed all of her employees with her shaping secrets. The first time I went there I saw Varvara and she waxed my eyebrows so beautifully that I didn't need to come back for weeks on end.The years have gone by, and Eliza's Eyes has closed, but I have followed Varvara happily to and fro in the city. She now has her own studio in addition to working in Warren Tricomi at the Plaza and after I see her people will actually stare at my eyebrows and ask how I can possibly get them so flawless? My answer is always my secret gem: Varvara! Pros: secret spot for best eyebrows in the city more

I have been a client of Varvara's for the past 15 years and highly recommend her work. She is both professional and extremely talented with a keen eye for detail and beauty. I first started going to Varvara when I read about her in one of the fashion magazines and at that time, she was affiliated with Eliza's eyes and Avon located on Fifth Avenue. As you know, these are well-renowned upscale beauty salons. Varvara is truly a talented and gifted beauty expert. She has demonstrated more talent than anyone else I know in the beauty consultant field and is an asset to have in the beauty business. I live on the upper east side and would never consider going to any other person for my beauty needs and eyebrow shaping. Varvara has been my eyebrow stylist for several years. When you first meet Varvara, she will spend time discussing your brows as they relate to your eyes and face shape. Her advice is always spot-on. She makes sure that you are comfortable and ones she begins, you know you are in good hands. Her approach is methodical, carefully grooming, waxing and tweezing until she is satisfied. I have NEVER been disappointed. I am constantly complimented on my eyebrows which makes me feel that my time with Varvara is the best money i spend every month. I have sent many friends to her and highly recommend her to anyone reading this. more

I have been going to Varvara for years. I have followed Varvara from AVON Eliza's Eyes, where she worked for Eliza Petrescu. Varvara located her business in convenient midtown, which still allows me to make my appointments at lunchtime. Time and time again, she does an amazing job. Even when i've messed them up. She works with your natural face shape and eyebrow, so it always looks natural...but much better. I only trust my eyebrows to Varvara. She is the best in town. varvara saved my eyebrows 8/10/2009

i have never been to eyebrow shaper before. i am so OCD. i've always plucked my own brows. i over plucked them, of course. they looked very sparse, so i had to draw them in every day. i am getting married very soon and i wanted to look good in my photos, so i decided to see varvara my friend's recommend. she saved my eyebrows. she made me to grow them which was very tough. varvara reshaped them beautifully. everyone notices and comments on how much more nicer my eyebrows compliment my face. now i am a loyal customer and i see varvara monthly. i was embarassed about my eyebrows, but she is so sweet and caring, it makes you feel like you are going through the process together. i would definitely recommend her to everyone! more

Varvara is incredibly talented and honest in her approach. Her objective is always to make her clients the best that they can be. She is also extremely nice and pleasure to see. the best eyebrow artist in NYC 8/9/2009

I have been going to Varvara for years and does the best job- quick, painless and they look great. Several of my friends commented that my face looked slimmer and it was the shape of my eyebrows. Varvara is always on-time with appointments and has been flexible with my travel schedule which i really appreciate. I have gone to many other places in NYC like Bergdorfs and they cannot compare to the work Varvara does. Love her!!! Pros: the right place for eyebrow shaping more
