I got contacts here over the summer and recently went back to get glasses. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, especially the one who helped me, Steve. He made recommendations on what would work best for me but was not pushy. more

Best optician/eyeglasses in NYC! 2/25/2007

This optician on Mott Street is FANTASTIC - especially if you're on the VSP plan through your employer, as you get even higher discounts. I worked with Michael, one of the lead opticians - he is extremely knowledgeable and VERY patient. (I always have to try on about 50 pairs of glasses before I can find one I like, and then spend 10 minutes re-trying my favorites!) Talk about fun - they have a HUGE and great selection of eyeglasses - from conservative, to outlandishly funky. Lots and lots of colors, you will definitely find something you love. The eyedoctor is a young woman, very professional and thorough, I was hugely impressed! more
