Cutting Image

I have not been to cutting image but my hairstylist Nikki from Toni and Guy in San Antonio, Texas has recently joined the cutting image staff. Nikki has been cutting my hair for 5 years and I have never left her chair and had to go home and fix my hair my way since Nikki is so good at what she does, she takes the time to help you learn how to style your hair once you go home and she really is a true professional. Through the years I have recommended her to several of my friends as well and we are all definitely missing her. She makes you feel so comfortable and won't give you the wrong style for you, but makes you look fabulous, we would recommend her to any of you looking for someone to trust, after all it is your hair and not just anyone should cut it. more

I went to Cutting Image last weekend to get my hair done for my 30th Birthday Bash. Nikki did my hair and it came out AMAZING! I got compliments all night! I haven't found a place that I've liked this much or would go back to in years. I plan to go back for a haircut real soon. I went to Cutting Image per a friends recommendation, and I have never been more satisfied! Lisa was so nice, even though I was running a little late. The service there is so personal. You even get wine while you get your cut/highlight. I am usually very nervous about having someone new cut my hair, but I wasn't with Lisa. She was AMAZING! never have I had more compliments on my hair! It's so easy to manage! Even though it's nearly a month after my cut, the compliments keep coming! I found Cutting Image on Citysearch and chose it over the other because of its great reviews. I was not disappointed! I was the only patron in the salon for the duration of my visit, which meant that I had an undistracted, unhurried stylist (that's more than I can say for most salons I've been to). I was only planning to get 2 inches cut off, but she suggested a little more, and I am so happy I went followed her lead! It was the best cut I've had in years! My layers were beautiful! I also got my highlights touched up, and she did a flawless job matching the color from my old salon. And did I mention the wine and the head massage? I'm sold! Came in to this salon for the first time and was ""blown away"" by the friendly, yet professional atmosphere. I enjoyed being catered to and feeling like I've been going there always..everyone gives you that feeling, being comfortable and able to relax. Kim was my stylist and I thoroughly enjoyed her conversation, motivation, and ability to pick out what I wanted and deliver it to me with an outstanding style. I walked into this salon without any expectations (and a recommendation off of a friend of a friend,) and walked out with the best haircut, color and highlights I've ever had and a new respect for not only the East Village but the greatest salon I've ever visited (and the list is loooong!) Amazing cuts for the price in NYC. I walked in at random one day and couldn't believe my good fortune. I highly recommend Karen is - my first cut with her held up for 2 months! I left Cutting Image with the best highlight and trim I've ever gotten. After getting over my fear of a new hair stylist (recently relocated to NYC) I walked by this intimate salon & thought I'd give them a try... needless to say, it was the best decision to do so!!! walking into what felt like home eased my nervous energy, The simple warmth and friendliness of the salon and staff single handedly kept me there. Unlike time and time again on my endless search to find a place to get a great haircut, I didn't feel like i was next in line to loose my money to the turn and burn beauty machine! What a great way to spend an evening! I love the fact that this cozy little salon is open late. I went after a long day of work feeling tired and...but that is nothing a glass of wine, a fabulous head massage, comy environment and an AMAZING cut and color won't fix! Not only did I feel better that night but I got a dozen compliments on my hair the next morning at work. I would definitely recommend this salon to my friends! more
